Great oven
We bought the oven and the oven with microwave. RHMEO7202DS and the 7201DS/01. Delighted with both. It really is a full size oven/grill and it microwaves too. It doesn’t have the turning circle, but we don’t really find it necessary for the few occasions that we use it to reheat dinners. Would agree that the buzzer isn’t especially loud and annoying that you can’t see the clock while cooking, but it is a minor annoyance. The ovens are very, very similar and look great together, but our microwave has a slightly darker door (you’d never notice) and annoyingly the microwave doesn’t come with the wire tray that you’d put in the deep grill tray. Easy work around is just to grill with the oven wire shelf and put the tray underneath to collect drips. We are thrilled by the variety of functions on both ovens. It has a proving (40°) option. Full grill, half grill, grill with fan and all possibilities of fan/convection cooking. We had to read the manual to get used to using it. For example, open the oven to check on cooking and it automatically pauses. You must remember to “unpause”. The microwave is pretty cool too, you can microwave with convection/double grill with fan. Means you can heat food quickly, but gives an oven baked finish. We’ve been using them for about 3 weeks now and would highly recommend.Update: about 2/3 months in now and still highly rate this product. We made 4 baked potatoes from scratch using the “microwave with convection” option the other night. Essentially the mircowave does its thing at 350W and the oven does its thing (we set it at 180°) and we were impressed that we had perfectly done tatties in 50mins. Nice. It would have taken about 1:30-1:45 in our old oven.

It really is a Microwave and an Oven!
I had some doubts whether this really was an oven and microwave. I thought maybe I was misreading the description, but I wasn't and it does both functions.I've been using it for a few weeks now and haven't had any issues with it cooking food. There are so many different cooking modes that there is still half a dozen that I haven't tried. There is an initial smell when you first start using it, but that clears up after a few uses. I expect all new ovens are the same. The only issue I have is with the control panel. I think there are a couple of poor design choices they have made. The first is with the "beep" that lets you know when various things have completed such as the oven warming up or a timer finishing. It is too quiet and far to easy to miss. They should either make it louder or give you a method for setting the volume. The next is with the timer itself. Once you have set it it disappears from the display. With my old cooker I could glance towards the timer to see how long was left so I would know to start other tasks. You can touch to timer button to show how long is left, but that leads me to the next issue. The timer is right next to the power off button. On more than one occasion I have accidentality touched the power button when I meant to touch the timer button and as a result the oven has switched off and lost all the oven and timer settings. You can set the child lock, but if you do you then have to remove the lock to see how long is left on the timer. The final issue is the power off itself. It is instant. It should have been set as a "long press" so you would have to keep you finger on for a couple of seconds in order to turn the cooker off.Would I recommend it to others?Yes. The poor design choices for the control panel are very minor issues which most people will never have a problem with.

Superb
This is a big and heavy piece of kit and I love it. The microwave is excellent and as good (if not better) than the Samsung it replaced. It does not have a turntable but it does have a huge capacity. I have not missed the turntable but I have enjoyed the ability to microwave many Pyrex dishes of frozen vegetables at the same time, to accompany whatever I have cooked in my XXL Instant Air Oven (which I also bought from Amazon). I have tried many of the cooking modes this oven offers and have been impressed but a little confused which modes are best for different food types. Put simply, whatever way you would like to cook your food, this machine can do it (including using two heating methods at the same time). I have found it easy to clean but the controls take a bit of getting used to. BTW I am a single man, not a cook, chef or enthusiast, but I thoroughly recommend this oven. It's heavy so you'll probably need help to fit it in your kitchen unit.

is this normal ??
Purchased this oven and was pleased when I first used the microwave that it really was a great space saving item. However on using the normal oven on ANY setting the cooling fan doesnt switch off and it has to be switched off at the wall socket, thus meaning the clock has to be re-set each time you switch it back on ( or not at all !) Have reported the problem and an engineer has been today, he cant work it out either or find any details on his system for this particular model ?????? Has anybody else had this issue ? If so has it been satisfactorily repaired ??? do we go for a repair (if the engineer can find one !) or do we simply return the oven ????UPDATE : since writing this review Russell Hobbs sent an engineer to source the issue, turned out to be a faulty part which was replaced and fan now switches off after about 15 - 20 mins depending on temp used. Works really well as both an oven and microwave and saves a lot of space in our tiny kitchen !!!
