Faulty
I'm not sure if I just got a faulty item seeing as I read all the reviews and they were really good. However, I used it once to do some simple line work on wood and it fell apart! The plastic casing melted where the metal met it and the tip melted off , I can't get the screw part out as it's melted flush to the base!Not a great experience

Good starter kit, not for long term use.
The ‘nib’ loosens as you use it, no matter how much you tighten it beforehand. Easy to use, good temperature control. Only times I’ve burned myself have been through personal stupidity.

Great selection of attachments
I brought this primarily for plastic welding rather than pyrography, and it works great, it heats quickly and the adjustable rotary heat control is a really good idea, enabling you to turn it off before placing it down.The variety of attachments mean I can get into any corners needed, I can't speak for how well it works on wood but can only assume it would be great as it produces plenty of heat quickly.Overall very satisfied and seems really good value for money.

Please buy a different one! After the first use you couldn't get the tips in and out. Really poor
