Quick to make and delicious!
The first time in my life I have been able to make perfect idlis with this product. The quantity is three pack so it lasts a long time. I followed the recipe instructions very carefully. One cup of the idli powder, one cup of water and half a cup of yogurt. Set aside for 5-10 minutes, pour the batter in the idli maker, steam and just like that perfect white idlis. Idli making has never been easier and fun. Just make sure that the measurement cup/mug that you use for one cup/mug of idli powder should be the same used for water as well as the yogurt so that the measurement of all the three ingredients is consistent with each other and as per the recipe.

The idli is good but the center seemed uncooked so I had to cook it for extra few minutes but otherwise it’s good.

The MTR Instant Rice Cake mix is very handy, useful and easy to make by making them in the idli cooker known well They turn out yummy !

Doesn't rise properly.
I love idly. But I've had trouble with this mix brand not rising properly. It comes out dense, not fluffy. I found that cutting back on the water helps a bit, but it's still nowhere close to the light and fluffy idly I've had at restaurants in India, Sri Lanka, or even the U.S. (when I can find it). The result with this mix is edible and tasty, but disappointing in texture.

Highly recommend!
This is so much faster and easier than making your own idli batter, and it’s so yummy. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who does not own a wet grinder but still wants to make beautiful fluffy idlis.

Just want to alert sensitive Celiac folks. This product carries the warning given in this review's title. I didn't try it, though this brand's Indian ready to eat meals taste pretty good to me, spicy enough and flavorful. I didn't think it fair to dock stars since I couldn't sample this product. Sad I can't make idlis in my new microwave idli steamer. Also, product not returnable.

Very easy to make delicious idlis. Makes good idlis. More than 20 mini idlis per package. Will buy again.
