I replaced the original chuck on my new Chinese manufactured drill press because of poor runout. This is the second chuck that I have purchased from the DNLK store. Both have been excellent. The original chuck had a .016" runout, this chuck has .006" and actually .004" of that is slack in the quill bearings. Very nice chuck.

I paid over twice as much for this chuck as others because it specifically says multiple times that it is made in the USA. I checked the tolerance on my drill press shaft and it was below .002. When I check the chuck after attaching it to the shaft there was a wobble of .006. I called the seller and the agent said that “these chucks are the best ones made in China”. I don’t care if it was perfect, you still get two stars for lying.

Replaced a damaged chuck with this one in a drill press and it works well.

so far very good chuck that replace not so good harbor freight chuck with chuck key teeth broken becuse you had to tight so tight to keep from spinning the chuck has about 1/8 of the older ones run out very nice chuck

Its a great drill press chuck - but it cost a lot.I just didn't have time to look around.But the part works sweet.
