Johnson's Cotton Buds 100 - Pack of 4

Is exactly what it says it is will last my household a while :)

Of all the cotton buds I've tried, Johnson's are my favourite.They:- Have a feel of being high quality- The stick part is firm and flexible enough to have some give yet solid enough not to bend too much or break- The cotton bud part doesn't come off very easily like it sometimes does in lower quality cotton buds.- The cotton bud part is soft enough to be comfortable on the skinGreat for many uses including:- cleaning ears,- adjusting or removing make-up,- cleaning small things like the nooks and crannies in jewellery, ornaments or between keyboard keys- face painting (use it like a brush)- pixie gladiator fights ( :) )

Warning - the product shown in the picture does not match what is delivered. The product is in a flimsy carton with no seal. I am not even sure if this is a genuine J&J ear swabs. Two of the 4 cartons were open and looked like someone had squeezed in an extra pair of swabs. Unfortunately I was told I cannot return this or request a refund. It’s going to go in the bin

We rely on these cotton buds. We have tried others, including supermarket own-brands, but keep coming back to these.The most common use for these is to clean wax out of ear canals but please be aware that this is not recommended. Wax is there for a reason - it provides protection from fungi, bacteria and water. If you remove it, you increase the chance of suffering from an outer ear infection. Worse still, you can poke your eardrum with it and perforate it. Repeated cleaning with cotton buds can also compact the earwax together causing hearing loss.A relative used to suffer from repeated outer ear infections when on holiday, after swimming. It turned out to be because he was constantly removing earwax from his ears.We use these to clean hard to reach areas, or areas that need a bit of pressure. My wife uses them to remove make-up. With some brands, the cotton wool comes loose and pulls off the bud. It doesn't with Johnsons which is why we have stuck with this brand.(This is a review of the product, not the price).
