Stash buster!!!
Crocheter/yarn addict. This was one of my best purchase this year. The key is the right yarn. Not all yarn will work for this machine most worsted weight and thick dk weight. Which is 85% of my stash. After finding that I like crocheting blankets it left a whole lot of onesie and twosie balls. I got this to lower my stash. Now I can hand crank a hat in 45minutes and get rid of one ball of yarn. I got the electric crank to save my shoulders and elbow from wear and tear. In 3 weeks I have 42 hats ready and one huge storage box empty and 16more boxes to go

Broke after four uses 😖
I was able to make the three hats pictured and another one before the machine started jamming and dropping stitches randomly.I still tried to make just a simple tube and no matter how careful or slow I went, the machine jammed. I was using the same yarn as I did for the other hats so it couldn’t be that. The counter never worked accurately so you will have to count your rows some other way. The suction cups do not work either so you will be holding it down with one hand as you crank the machine. I was able to put better quality suction cups on it but that was a separate purchase. If you intend to use this for regular crafting, try another seller/brand.I don’t have the original box to return so I’d likely not get a refund as has happened with another broken item I returned. If you’re thinking of this as a serious hobby, skip this one. If you’re wanting to do this to sell at craft fairs, look into a used brand name machine or start saving for a new one.The machine came with yarn that you can use to make projects. I didn’t love the quality so I used it as waste yarn. I did not open the pom maker that came with the machine so can’t comment on that.Would be zero stars but I guess it made four very expensive hats so one star.

Love it!
It works great! It came sealed brand new in box. I had a knitting machine when I was a little girl that worked like this. I think it was called a knit magic or something like that. So it wasn’t hard to pick this up again. It’s like riding a bike. Plus I’ve been watching a bunch of videos. I got 4 different sizes. I think it’s going to be fun!

What turtitorials to learn.
It's a decent machine once you get the hang of it. Does skip stitches ar the beginning but as you improve you can fix that problem. Instructions aren't very clear but there is always you tube to learn. But for a beginner it's a great little machine, also does flat panels.

Long time knitter without time to knit anymore
As a long time knitter (15 years), I never wanted to buy a knitting machine. But after having a baby I lost all the time I had to knit and didn’t knit for a whole year.To start knitting again, I decided to start with smaller projects such as socks for my toddler and decided to get the 22 needle knitting machine to make some test.I bought this machine to knit for my toddler mostly and make socks, tights/pants, and sweaters. The package comes with the knitting machine, a crochet hook, a needle and a couple of sample yarn. There is a guidebook to get started too. The sample yarn was very useful as for a test run.The yarn is easy to set up, after 10 min I knitting with the machine.I love hand knitting, it is my lifetime favorite hobby and love the diverse stitches we can do by hand etc. But for simple things, that requires only one stitch and if you do not have time to knit this machine is an eye opener. After I finished with my sample yarn, I started to make socks, and I finished one pair in a couple of hours (including hand the toes and heels) as opposed to a week or two knitting at least 2 hours a day (time that I don’t have anymore). So if you are a knitter like me but don’t have time to knit anymore, using this knitting machine is a nice way to make simple and fast knits.

Easy, No
After watching several videos, I decided to buy this knitting machine.Reviews were mixed on the Sentra 48 vs Addi 46. This review is really about a two and a half.First hat was ok- used the yarn it came with. Today, I made a 2nd hat. Took 3 tries of frogging and restarting to create a hat. The counter broke on the 2nd try. Now, I need to buy a counter or count each row by hand. This knitter is more affordable, and some people love it. But I will save up and buy an Addi next time.I’ll try another hat, an update my review.

Watch videos! Follow directions!
There is a learning curve for this, but it does work, and works well once you figure it out. I still have to go watch instruction videos each time we finish a project because I can’t figure out how to cast off, but my 13 y.o. can use it and has a lot of fun making hats for every one.

Garbage! Waste of money!
This is utter garbage. The counter never worked from day 1. I expected that from reading all of the reviews. But after making about 6 beanies the whole thing just stopped working and every other stitch it skips. And the knob is incredibly hard to turn. So I tried to open the counter to see if there was something sticking and I couldn't see anything but when I turned it back over it started turning better. Until I put yarn in it and now I can barely get it to turn and it is slipping every other stitch. I'll never buy this again!
