I purhased this to keep me on my side rather than rolling over unto my back at night. The support is good so far, have only used it one night. It did slip a little but if I start out with the wedge part as far under me as I can and then tuck in my covers under it, it works. I'm not a tall person, 5'1", so maybe a taller person would need one a little longer. I'll see how it goes over the next few weeks.

The wedge pillow was exactly what I needed to help keep an elderly mother from rolling into a dangerous position in bed. I was surprised to see the pillow came shipped in a box about 1/4 the pillow's size. The professionally-printed instructions offered barely intelligible clues:"Because of the need for shipping, we vacuum compression of this pillow, resulting in you open the fabric, some wrinkles, Don't worry, you just need to leave it 48-72 hours and it will automatically return to flat, if you are still to leave it for 48-72 hours and it will automatically return to flat, if you are still."It comes with 4 clips that I have no idea how to use. The muddled instructions didn't help...."1: Sort out the position of the wedge pillow needs to be fixed, adjust the size of the gap so the fixed clip is better fixed. 2: Press the latch switch, clamp the fixing clip, and you can use it directly." Some fine print indicates that the clips may be used to help hold the pillow in position, but they admit the clips don't work very well, and words to the effect "We're trying to find something else that really works!"The blue outer cover arrived with a 1/2" torn seam, easily fixed with needle and thread. What the instructions could have said for greater clarity is "Remove the flattened pillow from the box and lay it out flat indoors at approximately 72 F degrees for about 12 hours and it will return to its designed shape."

This pillow came in very handy after a person that I knew had back surgery and I purchased this as a gift for them. It does a great job by keeping you on one side, without having you roll over to the other side of your back.

My mother requires total care and finds rolling on her sides extremely uncomfortable. I bought this to help get pressure off her buttocks and see if it would help her tolerate being on her sides. It doesn’t force her to be completely on her side, but still provides pressure relief I was hoping for. Now that we have this product she doesn’t fight us when we have to turn her and she states she is more comfortable laying on her sides when it is being used.

Thought this was full formed foam but is eco friendly packing peanut quality foam that gives no support and should never be made a body wedge to help bed support for the disabled let alone any requiring that added help post surgery. Absolute waste of money and huge frustration to come home from the hospital to. Do not buy this pillow for medical support of yourself or anyone you care for it’s worthless.

I used this to keep my mom off her tail bone while taking care of her during hospice. Could roll her from side to side and reposition her easily. Went from her waist to her chalf and she was relatively comfortable.
