Best knifr I ever owned.
Knife fits like a glove in my hand; I have average sized hands. I'm 69 y/o & have arthritis in my spine. The height of kitchen counters, from floor to counter, are typically 36 inches; that's an industry standard I believe, designed in the 1940s or 50s for the average height of a person in that era. I'm 6'2, so when I'm cutting onions, stew meat or whatever, I have to bend my back & stoop over to do the cutting. And with a cheap knife, even a razor sharp ceramic Japanese type, I have to push down to make the cut. To cut up three onions for a pot roast or a pot of beans, I had to do it in increments because stooping to press down on even one or two onions, carrots, etc., would kill my back. I'm also a woodworker & added four inches to my work table legs to ease the stress on my back; it works. This knife has the perfect sharpness & weight so there's very little pushing down, just slicing, and it slices so nice. It's expensive, but very much worth the price.

I'm one of those people who research everything to death so I'll say that I am very pleased with this knife. High quality and sharp. I'm sold on Wusthof so I recommend you spend the extra money and buy something that will last a lifetime

Exceptional and razor sharp
I have too many knifes in the kitchen according to my wife, but I had to try a Wusthof. And, it is by far my new favorite. It is incredibly sharp out of the box and feels very well balanced and comfortable to use. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Knife!
Wusthof is a top quality piece of cutlery. My son purchased this for his father-in-law for Christmas. He wanted him to have a chef’s knife that would make cooking even more enjoyable. Our families enjoy cooking, sharing recipes, and ideas. If I was younger and just starting out, I would definitely go with Wusthof. I have a collection of Mercer knives which I have loved for over 20 years. Wusthof costs more but it is definitely worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. Great knife, I’ve had for them for 15 years and I don’t want to replace the smaller one just the handle instead… I recommend it
