I want to leave 4 stars, but can not. The coat is exactly as described in the "about item" section that few people ever read before ordering.In the description it clearly states "slim fit". However we are a McDonald's generation of, "Yeah of course double size my value meal." Thus when ordering vintage victorian clothing in a "slim fit" you must think the same way you do when ordering those extra greasy fries, double size your order and you will be a happier person. I did. Instead of wishing I was really my XL unbuttoned coat size, I ordered an XXX-Large. And guess what? Fits wonderfully and I'm happy. So read the description and order your clothes like you do at the drive thru, and save the cosplay for the conventions.The quality is also as described, for costume, and in print it says button holes are "not" cut out. Thus as described. Of course I wish the button holes were real. There were a few stray threads, easily fixed with clippers. And I wish the inside pocket was a bit heavier duty. Note though, I'm saying this only because I want to wear this for daily use, and will wear it often. Since the manufacturer made this for costume use, it's actually quite durable, good quality and a nice looking piece. They delivered exactly what they promised, and for the price I do have to admit it was an amazing bargain.

Sizes appear to run a bit small but the look is authentic to the period. No complaints.

Husband wore it for his pirate costume. Looked great. Pretty light weight. Very contumely looking. Runs a little big.

It fit good it was great for the price and it looks really good on. Nice pattern on the material.

Too small, missing buttons and did not have the black part of the two tone. Overall quality is just ok. It would tha been just fine. Even looking past the missing buttons and missing black trim but the size makes it unusable for me. Am '6,"4 and weight 325 lbs. I usually wear 3xl so that what I ordered. This was nowhere near that its more like a extra large. Was a waste of money for me.

Made a good center piece of a Halloween costume without having to spend a fortune.

While it's obvious this is not the greatest quality coat or material I knew that when I bought it. So for what it is I was very pleased. It's very lovely and fit my very thin son perfectly. He loved it. With a matching vest and high quality top hat he looked fantastic. He also likes to wear it to church with a white button up and it looks really nice. The pockets are functional but not for anything big or heavy. The buttons are not functional, which he regrets. I might fix that feature someday. But overall very happy with purchase. He is 5'7" and approximately 135lbs. It was not tight on him at all.

This is great, it fit my BF so good. 6 ft, 200 lbs. he usually wears an xl in shirts i read the reviews and got an xxl and its perfect. its thin and perfect for layering.
