Don't use your phone without this protection
You can mute, turn off, not allow -etc etc , but that will not stop someone from listening to your every word! Really - it happens , it happened to me , and utilizing weak security protocols from my FORMER cell provider , my entire identity was stolen by someone access my phone illegally, one they captured my passcodes via my camera and my information thru 24 / 7 ease-dropping, by the time it was discovered it was too late , I would not dare allow anyone to use a phone in my home , or around me without this mic-block - it works and my hackers tried to disable it remotely with no success! I keep extra ones that I let people around me use to keep our conversations private , at my house you can leave your phone in your car, or use the mic-Locke! Once soneobe gains access to your camera they can see your passcodes or your s keystroke counter to learn it, in real time I was able to screen record a hacker using my user id and passcode, but once I added the NDC card with a second security key , they could not use the passcode alone, they had to have the physical card and key or it would not allow access. A must have for todays AI -black hat hacker world !!!

dont buy if this is for an iphone. inconvenient and incompatible.
I recently purchased this product having high hopes for a reliable and secure two-factor authentication solution. However, I quickly found myself facing a plethora of issues that make this product less than desirable for iPhone users. The most frustrating issue is the key's inability to reset on iPhones. Every single attempt resulted in failure, despite the company's claim that reset is possible within 10 seconds of a power cycle. This wouldn't be such an issue if the necessary app had a straightforward name. However, its obscure naming convention makes it almost impossible to find via the iPhone's Spotlight feature quickly. For those of us with iPhones that have significant memory, the issue is compounded. Even if you miraculously find the app via Spotlight within the tight 10-second window, the app may not even open in time due to memory constraints.Practicality suggests keeping the app on the front page, but even that doesn't solve the problem. After an arduous 57 attempts to reset the key, all I received was a "Reset failed, try again" message, every single time.In conclusion, unless you enjoy the digital equivalent of a wild goose chase, this key might not be the most user-friendly choice for iPhone users. It may serve well enough as a secure key, but the inconvenient and consistently failing reset process leaves much to be desired.

Great build quality, small device
This security key is a GREAT value if you are looking for a device that is compatible with both FIDO U2F and FIDO2 standards. That is what I use this for and I haven't had any problems. The PIN (a numeric password you set for FIDO2 on this device only, which doesn't get shared over the internet) was easy to set using the app on iOS on my iPad. The build quality appears to be very good and I don't foresee it falling apart anytime soon. The size is smaller than I imagined, and it has a nice feel to it. I have used it in lightning ports, USB-C ports, and with USB-C to USB-A adapters and all work without issue. One thing I have noticed is that it takes a couple of seconds after the computer/phone prompts for touch before the light starts blinking to indicate that it is ready for touch. This happens regardless of whether the device has been inserted for a while or not, so it is not that the driver for it is being loaded. It simply takes a moment for the device to ready itself for the required touch.I have not had any issues with drivers, even when using Linux. Though it took a long time to figure out how to configure PAM to use FIDO2 for passwordless login to the Linux PC.Some features that this device has which I have not used are:Static passwordHOTP one time passcodeThese two features cannot be set at the same time. You can set either a static password that it spits out (like you typed it on a keyboard) or a single HOTP one time passcode, but not both. Either way, it spits out the password/passcode anytime you touch the sensor while the light is illuminated SOLID (not blinking).Another popular brand can store multiple TOTP passcodes which are accessible via an app. This device does not have that functionality.Overall I am very happy with this device. I use it as a primary security key on my iPad which has a lightning connector and doesn't have NFC. I use a different Feitian USB-A/NFC security key for my iPhone and my computer.

A less expensive option
I was testing a number of Feitian and Yubico keys against a number of use cases. For plugin devices for mobile devices, these are good and are a less expensive option compared to Yubico's similar offering.

No obvious way to integrate with iPad IOS 2FA
I use and have used multiple hardware tokens. Various platforms. This device has a Lightening connector, but there does not seem to be an obvious way to integrate the key with either iOS or icloud. Can use it on Chrome on ipad. It may just be that Apple has their own ideas about 2FA and do not want this. Currently a curiosity.

Works as well and half the cost of the Yubico 5Ci
Works great on my Apple Macs and iPhone. iPhone app let me add a security code to my key as well. Save yourself the money and get this over the Yubico YubiKey 5Ci. This one works perfectly and is half the cost of the Yubico brand. Very happy and highly recommend.
