Not a whole lot to say about it. It's a sturdy ice cream scoop with a heat transfer fluid in the handle. Makes scooping ice cream an order of magnitude easier than with the crappy lever scoops or the cheap plastic scoops. 10/10 would scoop again.

Works super well with hard ice cream. I just wish it could be stored on its end.

This is hands down the best ice cream scoop out there. It uses your hand warmth to warm the scoop. I have had mine for over a year and love it. I just recently had to buy a new one because my husband accidentally put it in the dishwasher, but it wasn't the end of the world because it only costs $10 to replace.

Completely ruined after a coupon uses. Not dishwasher safe! The warning is printed on the side. It being 2022 I didn’t think a kitchen utensil would not be able to go into the dishwasher… I was sorely mistaken. As a result the scooper was rubies and left a black residue throughout my dishwasher.

some reflections after 2 years, a very sturdy scoop, still works well. Besides avoiding the dishwasher, do not use a scrub sponge or scotchbrite as this will remove the clear finish and allow corrosion to set in. I did this over time inadvertently as I always have a scouring sponge in my hand. The anti freeze disappeared somehow unnoticed, although it never went in the dishwasher. I think hot water or soaking may have played a part. Again in hindsight it is best to rinse and dry and set aside.

To be honest, I had my doubts about this little scoop. It is filled with anti-freeze, and so requires special handling, can not be put through the dishwasher. I bought it after reading a review of a similar model which indicated this it is what is used in in ice cream parlors. It was inexpensive enough that I thought worth taking a chance on.I have nicely designed scoop from Zyliss  Zyliss Right Scoop Assorted Colors  which I love, however...I made some ice cream for my son's birthday with a fabulous recipe from the New York Times. It tastes great, if you can get it out of the container. It is a very dense, rich ice cream which froze very solid. It has taken quite a bit of work to get any out with my regular scoop, but this has worked like magic.I never would have considered purchasing a scoop filled with anti-freeze until I saw that review, so Thank you to whoever recommended it, and I am passing that recommendation on, as I a finding that this works quite well, well enough that I intend to buy another in a different size (because I like that recipe too).

I am no pro but an average home owner who has bent or broken every scout to cross my path. This scoup seams sturdy by design and magical in it's ease through ice cream, may be due to it's shape but the effort required is 75% less than my last scoup.

Muy buen tamaño, como para hacer bolas de 150 grs... tiene anticongelante en el mango, para que con el calor de la mano, se descongele la cuchara que hace la bola, para que no se quede pegado el helado a la misma. No se debe meter al lavavajillas, es de alluminio de buena calidad, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

tenia yo una cuchara para servir helado, de esas que se aprieta un botón y corta la bola, bueno, el helado como está duro, rompió aquella cuchara,al probar esta,fue tan sencillo y se hace una bola muy estética me gusto mucho esta cucharavalió la pena

Maybe this is common knowledge to some but I did not realize putting this item through the dishwasher would blacken it! It's apparently possible to clean, but this information should be somewhere on the product page. Hand wash only!
