I use this on my Thinkpad external battery charger since I have converted it over to USB-C and I no longer carry an original charger. This allows for me to easily adapt my USB-C charger over to the Lenovo DC jack used by the Thinkpad external battery dock. I would highly recommend if you want to charge an older Thinkpad or Thinkpad accessory with USB-C.

I bought this to charge my JBL Xtreme2 portable speaker, which happens to require 20V input via a 5.5/2.5 barrel plug. This allows me to charge the speaker using my USB-C laptop charger, which is much smaller and more portable than the brick that came with the speaker. I hate having to keep track of proprietary charging cables and having to pack/lug them around, so this little adapter essentially eliminated one bulky non-universal charge cable from my life. It will be great when everything eventually switches to USB-C, but until then I'll keep adapters like this in mind for all other devices that came with non-universal charge cables.I will add that the product I received did not have any text on it (product pictures do though). I will probably use a paint pen to write "20 V"

I purchased the correct fitting product to go with an HP charger that has the correct wattage as recommended on the item description. It simply doesn't work, my laptop will charge for a few seconds and then immediately stop. Very disappointing.

Nothing really profound here, it just requests 20v from USB-PD and adapts it to a different plug. It works, it doesn't heat up. That's about all there is to it.It does keep your USB power supply on even if the laptop isn't plugged in. If you're using a power bank for instance, you have to remember to unplug both ends of the cable.

I’ve got an old laptop I bought 5 years ago. Recently saw on LTT that we can just get adapters for electronics and so I checked it out. I accidentally ordered a dell plug first which didn’t work for my hp so I was super happy to get this one and I’m runnings on usb c.

I love how this converts my old laptop into one that can be used with usbc chargers helping it keep up in terms of convenience in the modern age the only problem I have with it is that with different usbc cables and plugs the laptop doesn’t actually charge but it will keep the laptop topped off and the laptop will draw off of it but only what it needs not enough to increase the percentage..

Not sure what less than 5 star reviews are about, this is for the USBC to Slim Tip adapter and I tested it on an old Thinkpad X260. Works when the laptop is powered off, works when the laptop is powered on, works when it's sleeping. Works with 65W Lenovo USB-C charger made for a newer Thinkpad, works with 65W aftermarket PD power adapter. Works.

Sans même que le fils bouge, je perd le contacte au 15 secondes. Ce n'est pas la prise de mon ordinateur qui est agrandi, car mon autre dispositif de charge principal fontionne sans problème.

No tiene mayor complicación. Lo que si es cierto es que resulta un poquito holgado y tengo que asegurarme de empujarlo bien en el conector del PC, pero puede ser también por el puerto de carga del ordenador. Por lo demás, cumple perfectamente
