48-Hour Turbo Yeast

Got me to the advertised ABV in 48 hours. Decent yeast flavor. No stressed flavors from the yeast.Would buy again

Got 150 proof on my first run from this wonderful yeast! Even after pitching my yeast at 90 degrees. My five gallon wash was ready to go in just 3 days.

This yeast along with the turbo classic 8 are probably the best yeasts on the market. This particular yeast gets a marginal Edge on the classic 8. I have not had a batch produce an ABV lower than 20%. 2 years back I had a batch that was just about ready to be harvested and wound up in the hospital for two weeks. The Moonshine distiller yeast was of course completely finished, a 5-gallon batch, and when I opened it up I was almost knocked backwards by the fumes. This is not a joke or an exaggeration, hydrometer testing, without distillation came in at 33%, and an excellent flavor. It is an extremely tolerant and stable yeast, nutrients are built into it so you don't need to hassle with that, feel free to add fruits to embellish flavor, I suggest either chopping or blending solid fruits finely. Definitely a must-buy. One more thing, I'm glad I remembered, the CO2 output when this is fermenting is far beyond the capability of a standard air lock, I would suggest either building one yourself or purchasing a trap that can handle the CO2 outflow. The amount of CO2 venting reaches a point to where a quart-size bottle will bubble as if it is being boiled, literally.

Holy crap!!! Super high alcohol super fast. Made vodka and wine and both are a HIT!!! Will be long time customer.

Product received damaged and leaking in box, which makes it unusable.
