I use this for my work laptop as I have to run multiple applications for my role and because of this my laptop can throttle its performance to avoid overheating. I’ve ordered Lasko products before and have enjoyed the quality of running day in and day out, so I went with this unit. Since it’s USB powered, i can plug it into my laptop (or you can use the included adapter to a standard outlet as well, great job Lasko!) and use it there. It’s not the quietest unit, but it gets the job done and I listen to music anyways so it couldn’t be less of a deal breaker for me. I’m happy with it. There’s no frills with this unit, and that’s what the doctor ordered.

While the fan clearly shows the size is is, just note where the air comes is about 1” wide. No air volume hardly at all.I have several Lasko blower fans. But this one is a joke. Nothing more than some Cheap China fan that has Lasko name on it. I did a return to Amazon, but a total time Waster. Lasko - Shame on You.

I like the idea, but the motor type used is a little on the loud side for it’s size. I’m guessing limitations of the technology. Not loud like a stereo blasting in your ear, but not as quiet as other blower style fans that are slightly larger. On low, the motor makes the most noise, on high the wind noise begins to overpower the motor noise. Portability and the ability to run it off a usb cable is a plus, it just feels like you need something double the width to get any satisfaction. It is a personal fan so as long as you keep it close you will feel a decent amount of air. I am a fan of blower style fans so for the price it was worth a shot but if you are looking for something practical and you are not willing to blow money on neat stuff like me, get the really cool wood colored blower style desk fan on Amazon, that one is fit for the task and quieter with more cfm, though it runs on a standard wall plug in.

Bought this for sleeping at hotels, it provides enough airflow to help when the ac isn’t doing it’s thing. It does have more of a whiney noise than a fan noise. But still provided enough white noise to help with sleep

Not a blast of air but good for desktop; also good for cooling pies, hot pots.

Looks like the larger version but on hi its just a whisper of air. Can be bought as a set but it's always your choice.

It's durable and on high it puts out enough air to cool me off as long as the weather isn't too warm and it's great that it will run off of a usb battery pack or my pc or it can be plugged into a socket. So it will be nice to have when the power goes out, which it often does where I live. It's also great that I can point it right where I need it to point. It's also really nice that it's so small so when I go to the hospital I can take it along and have a nice cool breeze blowing on me as I wait in the hospital bed forever for the doctors to finally see me. But the seller of this wonderful little fan which was the amazon warehouse wasn't that good of a seller because they didn't send the usb cord or the plug in, which it should have come with.
