Works well with a Rockville RKS30X Keyboard Stand
Got this for my wife's keyboard. Added a 19" gooseneck mic extension and it works really well. Fits well in the round tube end of the Rockville RKS30X Double X Braced Keyboard Stand we are using. I like how easy it was to install and it's rock solid. It's also easy to remove for transport. With ours I also attached a tray and phone holder that was on the mic stand. To have a better mounting spot for those I installed two 3.35" mic stand extension tubes. Best of all we don't have to deal with a boom style mic stand. Cleans up the front area of the keyboard.

A keyboardist's answer to mounting an iPad.
Works well and happy with it! I bought this because I wanted to find a way to mount an iPad to my keyboard stand. It's small, fairly light, and fits into my keyboard bag, along with the Amazon Basics tablet mount which I can screw onto the end – a much more portable setup than the CTA gooseneck mount/clamp combo I used before. This attachment bar fits snug into the piping of my old On-Stage x-stand that I don't even have to tighten it much. The bar looks tall so I was concerned my iPad would sit too high above the keyboard but I'd say it's on the lower side, which is my preference. You can always buy other adapters or boom extenders if you want to make modifications, but this is really as simple as it gets, not to mention cheap. The thing about x-stands is depending on how tall you set it, the top supports can be either wide or narrow, so your music could potentially be far to your side. While the bar attachment does seem tight and sturdy enough to tilt to the side, I'd probably keep it pointing up at a right angle so as not to risk the weight of the iPad suddenly pulling it down. It really won't bring your music much closer to the center anyway, and would only bring your iPad down lower.

A clever idea that works well.
I bought this attachment to mount a microphone boom to the rear of this On Stage 2 Tier Folding Z Keyboard Stand. I was worried it might not fit since the tubing on the Z-stand is square. Also, an earlier reviewer had specifically stated that it didn't fit this particular stand.Well I am happy (and relieved) to report to you that it DOES fit the "On Stage 2 Tier Folding Z Keyboard Stand". In fact it fits it perfectly; snug and secure. You can buy with confidence.I did also purchase the On Stage QK2B Microphone Clip Quick Release at the same time. It just makes sense to be able to remove the boom arm with a quick touch of a button, rather than having to mess around with rotating the entire thing to unscrew it. The quick release clip also gives the attachment a little extra height, and that's a good thing for anyone who might have a keyboard with a bit more height to it than normal.I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, and would definitely buy this same product again. That's it! I hope you find this review helpful. Happy shopping!

Threads wear out really fast
Mount works really well in my tube style keyboard frame and is very secure when in place. However, the threads that connect it to my boom stand strip/wear out very quickly. The metal/alloy used does not hold up to multiple uses. I have had to replace this mount and the mini boom stand(both from Onstage) multiple times because of stripped threads. This may not be a problem in permanent setups, but if you have to tear it down every night like me, this piece will wear out very quickly. I recommend purchasing a higher quality brand such as K & M if you are in this situation.

Simple and effective
I have mine attached to one of the support arms on my On Stage KS8291XX Pro Double X Keyboard Stand. While this attachment is designed for both square and round tube supports, I was unable to use it with an On Stage 2 Tier Folding Z Keyboard Stand even with the top tier removed. The reasons for the problem with the latter stand is the friction fitting on the attachment bar was too small for the oblong support tube, and had it mated, the height of the attachment bar would not have cleared the top of the keyboard. When attached to the On Stage KS8291XX Pro Double X Keyboard Stand with an On Stage MSA7040TB Adjustable Microphone Boom, Black attached to the top screw-in post that perfectly mates with the boom, this attachment bar/boom combination easily clears the height of either keyboard I use (a Roland RD-300NX Digital Stage Piano or a Roland V-combo 76 Key Stage Keyboard).Bottom line, make sure your stand can accommodate this attachment bar (according to the manufacturer it will work with most X-style stands), and carefully measure the height of the top of your keyboard from the center of the support arm to which this attachment bar will be inserted. The total height of the attachment bar after insertion is approximately 7.5". If your keyboard is still too high for the attachment bar + boom or other mic holder to clear, you can gain an additional 3" with a Shure A26X 3" Mic Mount Extension Tube.
