A pretty good mic
This is a pretty good mic. The cardioid pattern means it basically just picks up what's in front of it and the frequency range is nice and wide. Very easy to setup - it was just 'plug and play' into an iMac, nothing to install - just select the 'CAD mic' in your app audio preferences. Only minus point is the tripod, which doesn't have a height adjustment.

Not as advertised.
This microphone is sold as having a 'large diaphragm' when in fact it has a small diaphragm. Be aware, not as advertised.
