Philips Norelco 6500 Shaver with Anti-Friction Coating

This was my third Phillips Norelco shaver that I've had since I started shaving (long ago). I like their anti-friction heads, which provide a comfortable shave. Although I'm right-handed, the shaver is easy to hold with either hand. This particular model came with an extra set of rotary blades, which will come in handy in the future (I change them at least once a year). It took a while to get (out-of-stock/backordered), but I'm glad I've got it now.

Razor works well but the power button is right where my thumb presses while shaving turning it off. Small problem that happens only occasionally.

So far, so good. I'm a long time electric shave user and i know the benefits/limitations of them. This model had good features, nice and quiet, long battery life between charges. Made in Netherlands. As with all electric shavers you have to pull your skin taught and go over your face in different directions to get a good cut. I have psoriasis and it has been good to my skin in regards to sensitivity.

I’ve been using this shaver for months now and it still works great. The trimmer does a fine job on sideburns and taking down long hair for the rotary. I also ordered the accessory adjustable shaver RQ111 for a body shaver.

They don't make them like they used to. doesn't shave all the hair not a close shave

I find it frustrating that I have to keep track of a separate proprietary charger. All manufacturers should have switched to USB-C by now.Otherwise the shaver is solid, no complaints yet regarding how well it shaves

Used about 2 months now, so far excellent operation. Close shave, easy cleaning battery lasted 6 to 8 shaves. Holding the shaver is slightly awkward, turned power off 6 to 8 times. Adjusted holding method. Minor adjustments, everything else 5 star.
