Love these paints.
Love these paints. They dry flatter than acrylics, leaving a nice texture on finished work. I have other paints from this brand and the colours are lovely. Great for a beginner, or someone who doesn't have much storge space. Could be taken to a location to paint as the packet is a handy size. Great value for money.

Nice Stuff
I was a fool and left them for too long, the paint had begun to separate. That is no fault of the product, I just want to warn new users to keep their paint in check as it will undo itself if left to, essentially, rot (not that it physically does). Generally though, they are pretty good for what it's worth.

Lovely creamy paint
Loved this gouache, was easily applied and glided on the paper. Didn't have to use very much water. Mixed well with the other colours. Liked it so much, I bought another one!

Beginners Luck
As a complete beginner to gouache paints, this set is brilliant. The colour range is good (in the 12 pack), the pigments are strong and they blend beautifully. I've only used them a few times so far, following tutorials on YouTube, but the quality is excellent and I love the versatility the paints offer sitting somewhere between watercolour and acrylic. I'm really happy with these paints, and when they run out (which might take a while as the quality is really good), I'll definitely be back to buy the larger pack.

Poor quality, don't get fooled into thinking it's a good deal
I brought this set as I wanted to expand the range of colours available when painting, mixing colours can sometimes be problematic and wasteful when it goes wrong. I settled on these when I read through the (good l) reviews. I set to painting a piece and I became bitterly disappointed in the quality of this paint. The paint was always mixed to be a thick creamy consistency on the palette but the coverage on the paper was dreadful and like other reviews have said I could see the grains of pigment in the coverage. I struggled to get any flat colours and blends were very difficult. They just didn't turn out as well as they have done when I've used paint from Windsor & Newton and Daler-Rowney. I've given a two stars as some of the colours were better than others, but overall the coverage was something I'd expect from a set from the pound shop.Spend a bit more and get a designers starter set from Windsor & Newton or the excellent set from Daler Rowney.
