Siemens Signia Streamline TV

It arrived a day earlier than stated and was very nicely packaged. I’m a 70 year old female and found the set up very easy, it took me less than 10 mins including moving the TV out and then back into position. The sound is excellent, crisp and clear. I have a hearing loss of 60% in one ear and 40% in the other and can hear sounds that I couldn’t hear before. My husband cannot hear these sounds and he has good hearing, maybe not?? I’ve placed the box at the back of the TV so it doesn’t have to be seen and can move around the house and still hear TV, cook dinner and not have to rewind the TV program. What I also like is that I can hold a conversation at close quarters without switching the box off and on again via my hearing aid app. My NHS hearing aids have not yet been set up to switch on streaming via the aid buttons. My husband is able have the TV sound at whatever level he wants without bothering me. Great value for money, win, win all round!

You need the Signia app on your phone to use this product. The power source plus three TV connection options are supplied. Once paired with my Stretta hearing aids the stream function was added to the app together with play, pause and extra volume slide for streaming.Sound quality is excellent, no need for speakers or headphones. A whole new TV experience.Much cheaper than buying from my hearing aid supplier but still pricey. Worth it so far.

This item was no good for my hearing loss. But gave 5 stars because it was worth the try and with anyone who hasn’t got a severe hearing loss this will be a good benefit. So annoyed it wasn’t for me. Quick delivery and a good price and kept up to date with delivery arrangements.

Works perfectly with my Signia aids. Easy to connect to my TV and what a difference it has made to my quality of life simply by being able once again to hear every word even on football commentaries with sound being delivered directly to the aids. I can have it as loud or as quiet as I like without affecting the volume for others. I can listen to the sound anywhere in the house and eliminate it simply by press the preference switch on the left aid. It really is an amazing piece of technology at a very reasonable price.

The lights show it's connected but there's no sound coming through. Tried both metal and optical cables.

Came very pronto and does the job

I bough this for the upstairs tv, but when I linked to it, my remebered connection to the original downstairs device is lost so, to watch downstairs, I have to re-pair the devices every time. A lot of bother. Might as well cart the whole thing round th house, it would be quicker. I am sure thay could have thought that one out better at the not inconsiderable price.

Works well with my signia hearing aids, easy to connect showed up immediately on the app.
