The Milano is gorgeous ship and MUST buy if you can get it on sale. You wont be disappointed.
This set really delivers. As an AFOL ( adult fan of lego ) I really only get spaceships or space themes, and the Milano absolutely, 100% DELIVERS.Obviously you get the iconic minifigs, with Starlord and Drax really standing out. The printing on Drax is some of the best I've seen. The other characters are great too, but those 2 something special. The Milano itself is just glorious. The lines, the shape, color scheme and wing articulation make it a beautiful ship. Another wonderful part of this ship is its interior. Far too often, lego spaceships have cramped and sparse interior sections, but the designers of this ship made sure you could easily fit 4 guardians in side, with room to spare for weapons and things like that. The top comes of easily to reveal a nice layout, giving it some good playability for young builders. I would have went crazy if they had this kind of lego back when I was a kid in the 80's.So if you're even thinking of getting this set, buy it NOW. its been out for a while and there's no telling when it will be gone. Furthermore, the price has dropped to $55, which nearly made me choke on my coffee when I saw it and made it an instant must buy for me. You will not be disappointed. I built it last night while watching the movie and had a blast. I may buy another, then get some different color bricks than the yellow and make a different version. So many possibilities with Legos !pros:a beautiful, sturdy, iconic spaceshipgreat mini-figs. Drax ! wow...good playability for younger builderscurrently on sale...cons:there's a non-flush section right at the nose that I thought I would hate, but the rest of the ship is so good, it doesn't even bother me.stickers! gotta be careful when placing them...and there's 2 yellow/blue stickers on the hull that make MOCing it with a different color real tough.

Great toy for kids, great item for collectors
Through the past few years, I have seen Lego refine how they model certain movie or game items, and I am especially fond of spaceships from the Star Wars brand. The Milano, while not on that same brand, lives up to what Lego has been offering so far and stands out as a pretty impressive construction.Let me start by saying that this is an amazing set for any kid who loved the movie. It has 5 figures, 4 of them main protagonists from the movie (well, one of them being the bad guy) but also, besides the Milano, it has a smaller ship for the bad guys. From the point of view of play value, this is really good, as it offers any kid the possibility of reenacting movie scenes and plots. The Milano is very sturdy, and is of a size that can seem big for a kid, but manageable to play around. As a lego fan, I was truly impressed on the construction part of it. I love how Lego breaks the mold and uses angles on their pieces to make the ship into the wedge form it has. Building was a blast, one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. The ship sits right now proudly next to a Lego Millenium Falcon and a X-Wing and it looks amazing, not only in level of detail, but also on size and construction. For any lego fan out there, be a kid or an adult, this is a truly amazing set piece, and if bought as a gift, I am sure it will prove to be one of the most beloved gifts.

It Almost Makes Me Wish I Could Be Abducted
Does everyone abducted by aliens get a ship like the Milano? Because if they do, it sure would take the sting out of missing my wife and children and everyone I love. Man, that would be tough.......But this set is awesome! I really enjoy the inclusion of the tape deck for some awesome classic pop goodness. Also the I really like how the bird-like bow is achieved with angling. It was fun to put together and looks seamless when assembled. The engines and fins are all adjustable for maximum flight/fun control. The characters of this movie are obviously a major draw. Ronan the Accuser looks menacing, Star-Lord looks majestic, and Gamora is fierce and green. But Drax is the star of the set as the printing on his body is some of the very best I've ever seen. The red tattoos on his torso are recreated asymmetrically and in loving detail. In fact, the skulls on his tattoos are replaced by little LEGO heads. Mind blown.Highly recommended with or without alien abduction.

Fantastic Lego set based on a fantastic movie
This ship is huge, way bigger than I thought it was going to be. So if you're building it to display it, make sure you have the proper shelf room. (It's around 12" by 18" once assembled.) The mini-figures are great. Star-Lord comes with two heads -- one with his cool helmet and another one with a fair approximation of Chris Pratt's smarmy mug.If you're buying it for your kids, it makes for a pretty good play set. A portion of the roof comes off, exposing the ship's innards. (I love the multi-piece captain's chair.) There are also firing "rockets" and a number of flaps, rudders and other doo-hickeys to adjust and mess with as part of the ship build. The only real negative is that not all the pieces are printed. A few uses the dreaded stickers to give them the correct look. But that minor quibble aside, this set comes highly recommended. Get it along with LEGO 76020 Knowhere Escape Mission and you'll have minifigs of every Guardians hero and villain who matters.
