Apex Copper Bracelet, Solid Band

This solid bracelet is inconspicuous and plain looking. Slim and flexible but not flimsy. I take it off and put it back on about once a week. Have been wearing it about a year this way and it(they) show no signs they will ever snap/break. Fits easily under long sleeve shirt cuffs and coats in winter. I wear one on each wrist to ease joint discomfort. I think it really works because when I STOP wearing them, in about a week, I get noticeably more joint pains. Pure copper, it will get brown in a week or two. A little Brasso makes it shiny as new. Yes it will darken a bit the skin it touches. That's how you know it's working! I'm not going to say this copper bracelet will or will not work. I can only speak for myself. When I don't wear this bracelet my finger joints get stiff and it scares me. I'm only 43 yrs old. It's partially because of my atopic dermatitis which causes me to scratch my hands constantly and makes the fingers inflamed. I went 1 week without the bracelet and I couldn't take it anymore. I had to out it back on. Within several days my joints feel better and now my condition is manageable. I'm much more comfortable with the bracelet on. It has really helped me out and wasn't too expensive either. It even looks kind of attractive with its simple shiny smooth band.

Great looking and amazingly functional due to the ductile and malleable copper. I have a lot of chronic pain from a number of broken bones and injuries over the years and while I cannot explain why, copper bracelets seem to really help - perhaps it's a simple placebo effect, but if it is placebo, I'll gladly accept that explanation as I experience less pain with these bracelets.I purchased this as a replacement to a copper tennis-styled bracelet which had a difficult to work clasp. The soft copper easily bends and this band is readily removed or placed on the wrist, this is a very convenient design for a copper bracelet. I highly recommend it.

Looks good and really does provide pain relief.

Very comfortable and good looking. All good for a few days. Then I noticed my wrist was turning green. Not good. This should not happen. I waited too long or I would have returned to Amazon.

The stain will wash off in soap. Honestly, as copper is, I’m not sure that’s avoidable. The malleable nature of copper makes it easy to shape to fit.

I started wearing a copper "friendship" bracelet over 40 years ago as a gift from a friend. Eventually, after many years it broke. Almost immediately I started having arthritic symptoms in my hands--not good for a musician! I bought another brass and copper bracelet and within a few months was feeling fine again. I am now in my mid-sixties and have had no recurrence of the arthritis in my hands. I have purchased a number of these Apex bracelets as replacements, and as gifts for others who have complained about arthritis. Those folks are now faithfully wearing copper or brass bracelets as well, and their symptoms have abated, too. Great, inexpensive, no-frills bracelet.

I chose this rating because it the bracelet annoyed me. It was thicker than I expected and was difficult to form to my wrist. I have stopped wearing it and will explore another style of bracelet.
