Working fine,nice,easy to use

After much research on an iron that can remove creases with ease, we decided to purchase this one.After using it for a month, here are the PRO's and CON's:PRO's:1) Quick to heat up and smooth to remove stains from cotton shirts to trousers.2) Heavy weight makes it sturdy and has a natural tendency to iron out tough creases.3) Quite a few settings available for different fabrics.CON's:1) It did not work particularly well with linen shirts even on the highest setting. Had to buy a starch spray to even out the creases from my linen clothing.2) Would not recommend for bigger households having a ton of laundry as the electricity consumed is higher than other products of similar price range.3) Heavy weight of the iron might be a hassle for some, so do consider the weight aspect of this iron.All in all, we are happy with the product and would recommend it for a small working household like ours where ironing needs to be quick and efficient!

Perfect heavy iron

Amazon delivery by the seller was a scratched one which I saw after the returning window was over.It's just 1.5 year, I only used to Iron my pants and shirts on Sunday for half an hour. It burst out with sparks and lightening fire.2 years of warranty is almost of no use as they make excuses. I am in Lucknow and this Manoj electricals service was of false hopes. I compalined yesterday, he said he will send someone today with the new parts but in the evening he said we don't have parts for it. I know he is lying. The electrician said he will come in 2 hours at 4:30. When I called at 7. He said he would visit in some time now both of them don't pick the phone. Bloody liars.Don't buy Usha products, they are not up to the mark. The company is just benefitting from the old name from our parents. Now, you have many other better competitive brand for electric appliances like Phillips and havells. I will surely buy a new one from Phillips. The thermostat was also faulty, burnt two of my pants even when I was using a cotton cloth over the pant while Ironing.Better go for other better brands than wasting your money for golden sole plate and heavy iron.It's not of any use if it can burn your pants and give a big hole in your pocket. Just to save 1000 Rs. as other good brands steam irons were from 2-3k, I burnt my pants of near about 8k.That's what I wanted to add in all the reviews.Also, while Ironing white Shirt, This Iron can damage them with it's golden colour of the soleplate on your shirt.

First of all looks of iron is gorgeous, colour is nice on the other hand there are LEDs placed on hadle which is something different. Its red when heating and green when on auto cut.Most important thing the plate is ceramic coated. Its an exception in this price range.One more thing weight of the iron is very good and after filling water it becomes more heavier, heavy iron is good for removing wrinkles.Lastly the price is perfect I bought it for 2000 and its worth buying.Now its all about services now, I don't know what kind of services USHA provides. Hope for the best
