Moose Skateboards Old School 10 x 30in White Blank Deck

I bought this blank deck and built a long board with it. I will first review the deck before giving some information on parts I used to build a cruising board that I am satisfied with.THE DECK:I was pleased with the quality of the board for the price. The board arrived in just two days, fully intact. The paint job on the board was pretty good, but not perfect with a few drips in it. There were a few spots with some small indentations/imperfections which really are barely noticeable. The board came with grip tape, which was awesome (the piece is just big enough to cover the board, so there is little room for error when installing). The grip tape is solid and is sticky enough to stay on the board. The deck's tail is about six inches long and is a great size in my opinion. The deck has nice curves, with slight lips on the outer edge, which keep your feet in place at high speeds and provides a nice place for your feet to lean and turn. The board width is perfect for my size 13(mens) shoe. The deck feels solid and seems like it will be able to take a beating. Also, I would like to note that the size of this board is similar to the size of a skate board and is good for those looking for a small long board (can be used at skate parks) or I guess, a funky state board. The wood is Canadian maple and the deck is made in china. Measures about 7/16" thick.My Build with this deck:I would like to share what I used to create a nice little cruising board, as the info available online for builds is pretty limited. I wanted to build a cheap board with a higher quality than most mass-produced complete starter boards. My build cost me about 90 dollars, and I am very happy with the quality of the outcome, as you cannot find many decent boards for under that price. All this being said, all of the parts I used, I was able to find here on Amazon (most available with Prime shipping). I could find nothing but positive reviews and I see why. These trucks are beautiful and appear to be quality. These trucks are the perfect width for this board and provide a very sable ride. Its important to note that caliber trucks come in 2 different lengths and 2 different angles. I chose the 10" 44 Degree trucks as they match the width of the board and the angle of the truck is designed for less dramatic turns and cruising. If you are looking for deep carving and sliding, I would look into the 9" 50 degree version (these provide more dramatic turning and are equipped with different bushings for enhanced turning as well). The trucks come with speed rings (8 total).Wheels: Big boy 65mm wheels with bearings and spacers. The wheels are perfect size, and are about as big as you can go without getting wheel bite, keep in mind this changes with different trucks or even bushings used in the trucks. These wheels are nice and soft for cruising (not ideal for sliding). This item also includes spacers and bearings. This little board is capable of pretty high speeds and has a very good turn radius. If you are trying to save some money and build a nice unique board, I hope this review has helped. I had some fun with the white deck and some sharpies, its like a blank canvas. Oh, and most importantly, Have Fun!!

after a good wipe down and a very light scuffing of the white paint, I painted on a design I wanted, and put on some Indy 169 trucks with red bearings, SC rails, and Bones 60mm 91a wheels

These boards are great canvases to paint on for my clients. I love the old school options. I get tired of the popsicle stick boards. I’ll take the old school shaped any day!!

I recently purchased this deck because I was trying to look for more of an old school deck because I have been getting bored of the new generic ones. Ever since the board came in about a week ago, it has done me nothing but good. The pop on this deck is INSANE. This deck comes with griptape which is pretty solid too. I 100% recommend this deck for any skater.

This was a great board for painting some custom graphics, though I can't say much about how it rides. It seems like a quality deck though.

Buy it. Ride it. Sticker bomb it. Also get some mob clear griptape for the nose to keep the stickers non-slip.I'm running core trucks 9 inch. Spray painted blue. On 1/2 in risers with 70 mm fireball wheels. Big ball reds bearings. Iron horse 1.5 in hardware. Tail skid 7.5 inch.

Just what I wanted, came sooner than expected. Will buy again
