GCSE Physics Grades 7-9 Volume 1: Forces and Motion

I'm an engineer teaching my son from this book for Home School, it was good in the beginning but as it got more advanced about mid book the presentation became complex where my son could not follow it, especially the examples. There are books that are better organized.Don't expect your student to be able to follow on their own as you approach the middle of Volume1 (GR7), they will need a lot of direction.The book does not explain things in a systematic manner. We are now moving to Grade 8 and will not be following the 2nd and third editions, we will be moving to a book like Pearson Physics that takes the time to explain and guide through problems.Pearson is a High School / University level book but you can create your own curriculum from it using certain chapters that pertain to GR 8.
