270 Degree Folding Door Hinge-Hydraulic Door Hinge for Kitchen Cabinet Bookcase【Full Cover (3/4)】

Bought these to replace regular hinges in our rv. They worked perfectly just what we were looking for.

I followed the drawing exactly, setting back the 35mm hole exactly to 14 mm as shown. I was happy at how perfectly the fit the door. There are some features that are made to align to the hole and they did perfectly. The problem came when mounting the door to the cabinet. The hinges force the door alignment to be 5/16" offset from the outer edge of the 3/4" thick cabinet side. There us no indication or photos in the instructions this would occur. Hopefully my attached photo shows this in a way you can see. To get these hinges to align the outside of the door with the outside of the cabinet, you have to inset the 35 mm hole about 22mm, not the 14mm specified. But doing this, you're now needing to create a notch in the edge of the door to let the hinges line up in this new position. A giant pane. Even worse for me because I now have to rework a raised panel door. Note the photos show what happens when you follow the bad directions and not the way it should be. I'm quitting work for the day to figure out how to best recover.

I Carpenter was able to incorporate them into a media cabinet we were building, just what we needed

There's only minimal resistance once in closed position which is a good thing or a bad thing depending on your application. I would have preferred if it locked when closed.
