Redline Tuning 21-20002-02 Hood QuickLIFT PLUS Bolt-in System V2 Compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2017 (All Black Components)

Super easy to install, great directions and work perfectly. Third time I bought these, all for different cars. Keeps the hood a little higher than with the prop rod and the hood goes up on it's own. Got the first one for a Jeep I had. Airing up my tires after a ride, I connect the compressor to the battery. The wind was blowing hard and it blew the hood up and the factory prop rod popped out of it's hole. Caught it with no damage but when I got home I placed the order for this product. Now, the hood stays rock solid and no fears of the factory prop rod coming loose. Also, no rod across the center of the hood area for routine maintenance.

I put these on my '12 Jeep JKU a couple years ago. We just bought another '14 JKU for my wife. Bought another set of these hood supports. These Hood Lifts are the bomb. Easy install and work as if they came stock. Definitely a must have if you do any work under the hood. The prop rod isn't in the way when you have these. Worth money!!

Don't fall for the cheap stuff. This is a top-tier product. Even the packaging was awesome. The product came in a thick round cardboard tube that takes a little effort to remove the end cap staples. A flathead screwdriver and pliers help. Inside everything was packaged. Even the gas shocks were separated in another package so there was no rubbing. The media could not be loaded.  Super easy install. 15 minutes, no drilling. Only complaint is I wish I would have bought it sooner.

Easy to install and works great. Took about 15 minutes all together.

Good struts make opening JK good much more convenient. Only disappointment was the quick disconnect feature doesn’t work by hand only, I have to use a screwdriver.

Great packaging. Installation instruction were clear and easy to follow. I like that install uses existing holes in hood. No drilling required.

This is Version 2 of this product, which means no drilling required. Quality parts. 2 brackets and 3 bolts. Took me 30 minutes total and they work great. No more prop bar! 4 stars for the price, but I’m a tightwad. Worse thing about this product is the parts inventory said the instructions were in color, but they weren’t 😂. That’s it.
