We chose this model b/c we wanted a drop in ice bin with a sliding door. Was disappointed in the quality. The sliding doors are flimsy, pop out easily and do not seal the container. Also, the unit did not come with a drain hose so it was quite difficult to put together a solution for the drainage. Thanks to my local hardware store, we were able to do so. If I wasn't in such a time crunch, I would have returned it...

Overall I am impressed with this ice bin perfect for the home bar. Holds ice a solid 24 hours when less than half full, probably longer if you fill it completely. The sliding lids are easily removed for cleaning and as just about every commercial ice bin they do not seal but again it holds ice for more than enough time because of the well insulated box. The drain is easy to get set up, it's a standard plumbing fitting and overall a very basic install. I did have to re seal the factory installed drain but this was quick and easy and the reason for a 4 star review rather than a 5 star.

Solid assembly. Great drop in ice well. Simply put. Would purchase again.
