Comfortable and easy to put together
This chair was more than I wanted to spend but considering the name recognition and the look of it, I thought it was a good price differential investment given the alternatives. The support, the ease of putting it together and the sheer comfort it provides made it a great decision. It took me about 15 minutes to put together and I did it myself. It is sheer luxury when I work for hours on it and sometimes I think I am sitting on my recliner in my office.Given the work from home mandate we are all in, this allows me the day in day out comfort and I find myself not dreading the work day.If you are considering a chair in the range of this price, you can’t go wrong. The only issue I am having is that it does not seem to recline but perhaps that’s not something it does.

Absolutely love this chair!
I needed a comfortable chair now that I am working at home due to the Pandemic. I'm at the computer 8 hours a day. Sometimes more. This chair is terrific. Super comfortable. Good comfortable seat padding (I'm a man with a bony butt). Great support. I do wish it went a little higher in the rise. Just 1-2 inches would be nice, but not a show stopper by any means. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Took 20 minutes to assemble. Easy, great hardware, solid.

Good Chair So Far
Purchased this chair after searching for a previous Serta chair that has been discontinued. It works. It is on the small side, and perfect for a female, it is much smaller than my previous desk chair. I was looking for something with a little more support, sat in this one at an office store and it felt fine. It seems softer in my office than it did in the store. The seat has a lot of cushion, which is soft, and you sink in. I prefer a firmer seat. Once you hit bottom it sits well. I think the main difference is that this seat has an inner spring system, similar to a bed, so you sink in more than a standard chair. Have been using it for about 3 weeks now, daily 8-6 M-F and so far have no complaints about quality or comfort. I wish there were more adjustments. the back is a little far back for me, and I prefer a higher seat as well. It raises up to the listed height, but I think you sink into the seat about 3 inches, so for me (5'5") I feel like it's too low. Works fine with my work station, and on the rare occasion I get to sit back, it is comfortable. For me, the arm rests are a little high to use when working, but ok for reading and teleconferencing...still maybe a tad high.It went together effortlessly. Did it myself in about 20-25 min. The chair rolls smoothly on my floor mat. I think it will do for the duration I plan to work...how the pleather holds up remains to be seen. It does set warm in the seat, and I will probably add an air cushion in the summer (Houston...nuff said). Based on the prices of this chair elsewhere, it was a good price. However, I think you might find something as comfortable (and bigger for a larger person) for less in another brand.

Doesn't last, don't bother with this chair.
Its a nice chair, at first. Its comfy. The back is pretty short though, so there is no head support. The main problem is, it doesn't last. I've had mine for just under a year, and all the leather is cracking peeling and falling off. Both arms, the seat, and back are all severely cracked, you have to wear sleeves otherwise the arms are super scratchy, and the peeling will catch on most cloth materials..Not just that, but the silver paint you see on the arms and rollers easily chips off, and mine is missing a lot now. Mine also suddenly got a 3 inch split on the back revealing the metal interior...I weigh like 130, haven't misused the chair or anything. it started to crack after about a week and I've been extremely gentle ever since. Its just poorly built. Sad for a $300-400 serta chair:/ supposedly has a 10 year warranty? So they must expect something out if it... get something else.UPDATE: *See last image* Had it for just over 2 years now. All the pleather has peeled off the arms, full tears along the sides of the cushion, paint is flecking off everyone, screw hole covers are broken and fall out, and the top of the seat is just... its a nightmare. I just pulled the trigger and upgraded to a herman million remastered aeron. Its hella expensive, but after a couple years of sitting on this piece of crap I deserve better, and feel sore haha. Do not buy unless you never plan on sitting in it.

Comfortable
I enjoy this chair. I expected for the money to have a more luxurious finish, but it felt a little cheap when I started assembling it. However, once ready, it is so comfortable that you forget about those details. Today I am looking at it again and somehow the finish looks better. I would recommend it.

Not great
When I first got my chair, I found it uncomfortable. It took a little while to break in. The build quality seemed decent. It looked high quality. Fast forward around a year, the chair is quite comfortable. I would use it daily for hours. Eventually, like most lower end desk chairs, the screws and bolts would become loose and the chair would creak while being used. So I would tighten the screws and use lithium oil on the metal joints. It would eventually start all over again. The plastic covers for the screws would pop off constantly. I just decided to just toss them out, since the chair requires periodic tightening anyway. Now almost two years in, the vinyl leather upholstery covering is cracked and coming apart at the seams on the seat cushion, and the backs of the arm rests have become flattened out and are starting to crack as well. All that said, I would not buy this chair again for the price I paid for it. This chair shouldn't cost anymore than $50. If it's currently listed for more than that, move on to another product. Forget the brand name attached to it. It's a scam.
