Manual of Clinical Anesthesiology 2nd Edition

This is great for any anesthesia student. The bullet point format gives you the quick and dirty of different surgeries, diagnoses, procedures, and how they affect your anesthetic care. Lots of easy to read charts. I highly recommend this book.

Another CRNA showed me this book during one of my senior clinical days and I immediately got on my iPhone and ordered it. Now a certified Nurse Anesthetist, it's the only book I carry in the OR daily. Only came back to Amazon to order kindle edition for my iPad. It has great details on all of the best stuff to keep in mind for your case. I call it the book of care plans! My favorite book!

This is an decent anesthesiology book. However, it misses some key points. Also, it is difficult to read for me because it is in outline form. If you prefer this type of layout then maybe this book is for you but I personally get bored from reading in the outline form. The book looks nice and is has glossy pages but fundamental content is missing for a book its size.Morgan and Mikhail Clinical Anesthesiology clearly gave the most bang for the buck in a book this size and is very readable. Unfortunately, the last edition was in 2005. A new edition (5th) of Morgan and Mikhail (with different authors) is slated to appear in May 2013. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up to the old Morgan and Mikhail and Chu's Clinical Anesthesiology.Some nice features of Chu's book is that there are crisis management cognitive aids in the appendix (cards are available for an additional price) and a pull out card for drugs used in anesthesia.

I LOVE this book! It tells you exactly what you need to know in a concise, easy to read format. Great pictures and diagrams. A must have for any anesthesia student or practitioner!! I just can't say enough about how great this book is!!

Excellent visual guide, good for a beginning learner as well as more advanced providers, not a complete textbook on anesthesia though it never claimed to be. Glad to have a book different than all the others

I carry this book in my work bag! Great reference with outline-style format! Easy to navigate, and great tips on specific cases and special populations.

This book is amazing - contains beautiful descriptive pictures of techniques. Great for a SRNA in clinical. Many CRNAs have given this book excellent reviews when I bring it to clinical.

this book make us happy to read, just a nice book and picture inside. very good for anesthesiologist's residence. just read it
