Great Product, Exceptional Value
I have leukemia, and Acai Berry is one of the natural products that has been shown to be beneficial. I think the taste is great. I will usually just pour a spoonful from the container, but it is also really nice added to smoothies. The glycerin does make it taste pretty sweet, but I think that tartness of the Acai balances it out.I did the math to try to find the best way to supplement with Acai and this was it. You get more berry for the money than in any other form on the market.

I'm impressed with how better I feel
I started using Acai liquid a couple months ago based on my research on the internet as to it's effect on leukemia. The University of Florida is just one facility which recommends Acai berries for leukemia treatment. I'm impressed with how better I feel; no longer do I lack energy or feel a dog-tired weakness. Two tablespoons a day can be taken directly, or I've found it adds a good flavor to a healthy milk shake. One bottle lasts one month, so it's an item that can be automatically fulfilled on Amazon.

If You're Into Sweet Berries
Great for sweetening smoothies - but why wouldn't it be? It's loaded with sugar.S'posed to be good for you, and make you live forever. I don't want that - I'll settle for 75 (maybe 80 if I'm still in the saddle).Service was fine and product as advertised.

This is the real stuff, chunky and good
To me this tastes and looks exactly like the Monavie brand. Cheaper by the fluid oz and IMO great.Subscribing to this one, and I never do that!UPDATE: Seller needs to package this better - I'm on a subscription and keep getting damaged bottles with broken caps / leaking caps with spoiled product. It's a quick replacement, but spend a little more on a box and you will save some money in the long run.

Lends a different taste than other "pure acai" products
Ever since being introduced to acai in Hawaii, I have enjoyed the taste of it in smoothies. I don't buy it for the weight loss or anti-oxidant properties and therefore cannot speak to that because I have not noticed any difference in weight control or sense of well-being. I chose to purchase this product because of its claim of acai purity. I also expected it to be thicker since it claims to be a concentrate. It was as thin as apple juice. I have used other acai products and have noticed a different flavor when I use this product, which I don't prefer. I have also tried Sambozan powder and will continue to use that since it has the taste of acai I am more familiar with and enjoy.

Get your anti-oxidants without all the fructose and crap
Like many others, I have seen green globules in the liquid. It is supposed to be naturally occuring fatty compounds. It does dissolve when heated. I take a spoonful like cough syrup each day and the taste is quite good. I alos make a tea by heating water, adding a spoonful of Acai concentrate and a splash of organic lemon juice and a few drops of Monk fruit concentrate to sweeten. Good stuff and better priced than many.

Tastes Gross, Has Weird Green Stuff Floating in It
I'm not sure what I was expecting when I got this but what I received was not it. I suspect that something went bad with my bottle but I emailed NOW Foods and they have assured me that this is the way the product is supposed to be, that it matches their specs and is fine to consume... so here we go.It reminded me a bit of an iced tea I grabbed at my college's cafeteria a long time ago. It tasted a little funny and had a slight "stick to anything" vibe going on but I ignored it... until I saw what was causing the problem: I was drinking an inadvertent kombucha. In the middle of the bottle was a mushy, goopy, disgusting blob.As for the Acai, there was no solid blob, but there was some greenish/brownish gunk floating around in the bottle. It acts like a film on the top of the juice and also sticks to spoons and anything you put into the liquid. It's very off-putting and just seems... wrong. It didn't smell fruity or sweet. It smelled gross, like it had gone bad.As for the flavor, I wouldn't even take a sip of it because it looked and smelled entirely un-fruitlike. My wife, on the other hand, took up the challenge. But rather than a sip, she mistakenly opted for a gulp. As soon as she got the liquid down, her eyes widened and she gagged. She hates sodas, but ran to the fridge to grab one to rinse her mouth out.I shan't go into too much detail but you know that bathroom scene in Dumb and Dumber? It was a bit like that for a couple of days.If you're looking for something that's similar to what probably should be, check out Dynamic Health's Black Cherry concentrate.http://smile.amazon.com/Dynamic-Health-Concentrate-Cherry-16-Ounce/dp/B000QVDJ10Below is my original review:I suspect something has gone awry with my bottle. It tastes bad - like the healthiest of health drinks. There's also a layer of green stuff that floats around the bottle. I feel like it's not supposed to be like that, because only one other reviewer has mentioned it.I've emailed NOW foods about this to see what's going on. I'll re-review once I hear back from them.

This product gives me the energy that I need if taken as directed. Recently I read that this fruit has caffeine as does coffee. Is this true?
