Great looking, no-nonsense fitness tracking watch that works great!
Great watch, looks fantastic and the sapphire glass is a great touch and makes it much clearer than run of the mill mineral glass. The setup was easy and the app is great for connecting with google fit and strava. The strap size is 20mm so is very easy find replacements if you want a change of look. The tracking data is the best ive seen from a watch, including various fitbits smart watches including the Samsung Galaxy Watch. The step dial is handy as it is a good indicator of how active you have been at a glance. Scrolling through the menu is simple, ive actually used the timer and stopwatch function too which i never do even on a standard digital watch! Although it is predominantly an analogue watch without a touch screen, it is very easy to find and start a workout and read the data, i prefer this to the all singing and dancing smart watches where half the features i dont use once the novelty has warn off.The sleep monitoring is brilliant and the sleep apnea and afib detection is great. The automatic workout detection works as much as is expected, it isnt infallable but does a good job. If it gets it wrong you can always change what it thinks it has detected later in the app anyway so it isnt a big deal.If you want a great looking, well built, no-nonsense timepiece with health tracking abilities that just works, this is for you.

Very accurate ECG, HR Monitor and Activity Counter. A cool medical device, not a sport device.
This is the perfect watch for those of you who want health monitoring without the complications of an Apple/Samsung/Garmin watch. It has a medical grade ECG which I can confirm is accurate and can detect heart rate fibrillation (which I used to have). It is not a watch for hang gliders, parachutists or surfers- it is really more of a medical device that looks like a really nice analogue watch. No music, gps or remote answering but on the other hand battery life is great, and can last several weeks without recharging. The phone app that comes with it is simple to use but has nice functions including activity monitoring and sending readings to your doctor in a pdf report. Well built watch that looks great too. Very happy.

Beautiful smartwatch , but not an Apple Watch replacement.
I came to this watch from an Apple Watch series 2.First observations: It is beautifully made and looks great. The materials are superb; the stainless steel case is weighty and solid, the sapphire class crystal clear and should be very scratch resistant. The small OLED display is clear and bright, and the watch hands move out of the way when the menus are navigated- a really nice feature. The strap is a nice material. The ECG appears to work really well. Step and stair counts seem accurate. The app is very nice to look at and navigate, and gives good data. Being able to export ECGs as a PDF easily is a good feature. The battery is obviously great. Did I mention the materials and build quality are amazing?!Negatives:The strap is far too long - a minor point, but why?!The watch doesn’t know if it’s on your wrist or not - notifications buzz even when it’s off. That is surprisingly annoying, and Apple Watch doesn’t do this.Notifications are too simply implemented, and sometimes slightly irritating. I get a notification when I *make* a phone call, not just when I receive one. Why?There’s nothing to show that you have unread notifications, and you can’t return back to them after they’ve scrolled off the screen.Calorie count can’t be accurate - I haven’t worn the watch yet today and it’s counted 1000 calories by 11am.Only 5 types of workout can be selected to show in the watch menus - not enough for me.Apple Watch’s sport tracking gives different calorie use dependent on sport chosen - I suspect the ScanWatch won’t be this clever. The pulse oximetry is inconsistent (probably true of a number of watches with pulse oximetry)The HR monitor picks up a pulse when the watch is laying on a tableThe haptic mechanism is poor compared to Apple Watch - it is a high frequency vibration, compared to the tapping sensation of the Apple Watch- which is much, much better.Moving to this from an Apple Watch, I really wanted to like it. I didn’t use any of the features of the Apple Watch except the sports tracking and notifications, and thought the ScanWatch would do that well enough for me to be able to move to a much more normal and better looking watch. Unfortunately, the mediocre implementation of notifications, disappointing sport tracking/inaccurate calorie counting, lack of wrist detection and poor haptics mean that it’s going back.

After buying ECG move bought the Scanwatch. Now a lifesaver.
Bought Scanwatch version after buying the ECG move version which is excellent anyway. I have Atrial Fibrillation which as been detected by the Move version 3 times. So Scanwatch was a natural progression as it constantly scans for the problem. This watch is a step up for quality and design and having the Heart beat,Breathing and Oxygen monitoring built in is excellent. Bought a Amazon Warehouse priced version which is a saving of another £70 off their own new price. It was new just a small rip in outer cardboard box and a bonus was it had two strap's included Italian leather which is £40+ normally more and standard quality plastic which is for everyday use. This was a total surprise as it's not mentioned when bought. So take a risk on Warehouse purchases as if not up to speck you can always return item. Anyway watch is excellent. Thanks .Since my review this watch as become a life saver it detected Atrial fibrillation and from that went to AE in UK who gave me a ECG and a injection of beta blocker that brought my heat rate from 166bpm to 73bpm within 2 minutes. Now under medical supervision. It took this watch to report it. I always wear it.
