Fluke 59 Max Infrared Thermometer

Works greats. Temperature accuracy good. Easy to use

Bought this to use to read temperature on a heat press plate that I suspected was off. The fluke worked exactly like it was supposed to and confirmed my plate was between 20 and 30 degrees hotter than it should be. Saved me money instantly by not ruining shirts anymore.Unit feels solid and has a nice ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the hand.I was kind of hesitant to spend so much on a temp gun when you can get them way cheaper. But after using it a few times I am glad I spent the extra money. I had a cheaper one I use for a while before it failed and the Fluke was definitely an upgrade.

This device is much more accurate than the old generic one that I bought at Costco a few years back. I don't have a lab to verify or calibrate its true accuracy, but especially for relative measurements, it's very useful. It's also a Fluke, and while they've had a few small missteps, generally if it's a Fluke, it's quality.

Quick accurate tempature readings. Well built and ergonomic

Very convenient for measuring temperatures on various surfaces at a distance. My use is for botanical measurements on seedling growth rates. The accuracy is more than enough to make reasonable deductions. It fits well in the hand, the meter is readily readable and the response time is fast. It is a sturdy device and well worth the price. Distance to measure seems well over 5 meters.

The is a very useful tool. The instructions are useless and it tries to do too much. They should just keep it simple and stop trying to complicate a pretty basic function.
