Unfortunately, this IR extender didn’t work with my TV, even though it was listed as compatible with standard IR repeater systems. I tried multiple ports and settings, but no signal was transmitted.Disappointed that it didn’t function as expected, and now it’s just sitting unused. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re 100% sure it’s compatible with your setup.

Works great with my Niles MSU140 remote extender. The double sided tape that keeps it in place was worthless. Thankfully I keep my own double sided tape on hand, so it was easily resolved.A good alternative for those that need replacement IR flashers for the Niles system.

The range on this is really short. I literally had to tape it the my tv directly in front of the sensor :/

With Sony I don't work well, you would have to read other evaluations with other brands
