Great battery to revive your old iPhone
Update my review:Customer service reached me apologizing not able to get back to me on time because of their email server problem. They sent me a replacement battery the next day. After I put the new battery in, worked like a charm! Now the old iPhone can last a whole day with regular usage pattern. So far so good, no issue found for charging.Package contains all tools you need. Procedure is easy to follow. It took me less than 15-minute to complete.I am updating review to 5-star.BTW, please remember to recycle old battery appropriately.==== Old review ====If there is a chance to give zero star, I will do it.My daughter's iPhone 6S was having battery issue, it lasted for less than 30min. So I was convinced this "high capacity" battery could be a solution. After new battery was installed per instruction and videos, things went worse:1. Plugged in charger, charging sign showed up, but never across 2%. Back of phone was cold2. Phone continuously restarting, even with charger plugged inGoogled this problem, indicating defect battery. So I reached seller through email asking help (warranty or suggestions). No responses from seller AT ALL FOR MULTIPLE DAYS! No choice but to return back to Amazon.A very unhappy buying experience!

Skeptical, but happy for now
So far, the battery's been working well. For that matter, the tools that came with this kit are nice. Not too small, and they didn't lose the tiny screws as much when magnetically holding them. The reason why I'm skeptical is because of the market for this type of product is somewhat shady. I'm hoping I got a good battery, but the truth is: I don't think there's literal factories that produce batteries like these anymore.Often, these batteries are proprietary to the phones they compliment. Phone companies don't have an excuse to continue producing batteries to outdated devices. They're not in the business of keeping their phones running indefinitely; instead, they're in it to replace your phone on a more general basis. So more often, the replacement batteries are actually older batteries that have been reprogrammed to be recognized as 'new', and our phones may even suggest the battery is performing as optimally as a new one.For that matter, just before I got this battery, I used another battery listed on Amazon that gave me problems within a month of ownership. it started shutting off completely at around the 80% mark... Even though it looked like a new battery to my phone, it was performing like a very old battery... In light of that experience, I'm somewhat doubtful I have a genuinely good battery. It also makes me wonder: When we 'responsibly' dispose of our phone and/or its battery, where do those batteries actually go? Because I don't understand how they're making it back onto the market the way they are currently... In the case of this battery's phone, Apple doesn't even offer battery replacements for it anymore, so that leads me to suggest no one's even manufacturing the battery anymore. So we'll see how long this battery lasts... I'm sure one day I'll come back to this review, especially if this thing lasts much shorter than expected.-Update: So admittedly, the battery is working a bit better than expected; however, it's most definitely not a new one... It does power off before hitting 0%, and when it happens, it the battery seems to lose power much faster at lower battery levels (like 1% every minute when it hits under 20%). That's the kind of thing that starts happening after years of use. I'm finally seeing an update to the battery health, and it's showing under 80% of max capacity, so this is definitely a recycled battery... That's the kind of degradation you expect within 4+ years of life.Anyway, it's likely no different no matter which vendor/battery you choose, as all of them are probably selling recycled phone batteries. If you're intent on replacing the battery and keeping this particular phone model, I'd recommend simply buying the most affordable kit with the best included tools that you may or may not need.

Definitely one of the good ones! 1000%
I have always done my own repairs, and I have always ordered my parts off the Internet, I ran a cell phone repair store for eight years, so I know a good part from a bad part when I get it, as far as the battery I ordered from the seller goes, it was a very good part, it still works really really good to this day, I just updated to a new phone not long ago, but I gave the phone that I did this replacement on to a family member, and it still works very very well. If anything, the battery lasts much longer than the original one did… I strongly recommend if you’re going to do a battery replacement to buy from the seller.

Great kit, but instructions weren't perfect.
This kit had almost everything that I needed to do a battery replacement for an old iPhone 6S. The only thing that I felt could have been better was the instruction sheet, which was mostly sufficient. Early into removing the battery, the connector strip between the battery and the logic board needs to be detached, but the instructions are not abundantly explicit about that until a few steps later when it warns that if it wasn't completed earlier, contacts at this point may damage the phone. Also, the final step of the old battery removal was hard to parse and I ended up looking for a video tutorial online that more clearly explained what that the adhesive holding the old battery was being removed and how to remove that adhesive. If you are familiar with the process, the written instructions will be more than sufficient, though. The tools provided were good and the battery seems to holding a much better charge than the near six year old battery it replaced.

Doesn't seem to fast charge, otherwise works
3 star because it works (holds charge), but it doesn't seem to have that fast-charging capability, so it takes a long time to charge. The kit and tools that came with it were good. If it fast charged this would be an easy 5 stars.
