Still holding up after a year of consistent use! 10/10! Highly recommend!
Weaver Leather is the best! I always recommend them to others! I have two of these hay nets and they've held up for a year so far and are still almost in brand-new condition! The rope hasn't torn or come apart and my horse likes to chew on it lol! I have a baby colt and he's doing great with these! I highly recommend and they really are great items!

Great for my Pygmy goats
The media could not be loaded. This is a second net i bought for my goats, so they can have one in their shed and one out in the yard. It works great, and is sturdy enough for them to lean their whole weight on it when they are almost climbing it to get to the tastiest bit of hay. It works best with light loose hay that they like (I'm currently feeding Orchard Grass), they eat it down to a completely empty net. When I fed Timothy, the hay had some stringy stalks in it that these spoiled goats refused to eat, so they would leave the stalks in the net and scream that they are hungry. The net made it harder for them to dig through the stalks to find the choicest bits. But with the hay that is all edible the net works great for them. I find it easy enough to fill, just open the net wide and shove a flake or two in.

Super hay conservation during feeding.
The media could not be loaded. This slow feed netting helped with my horses wasting their hay. The smaller hole design allowed them to pull a smaller amount of hay out each time. They have minimal hay dropped now. Which conserved the amount of hay on the stall floor as waste. Great money saver for the annual hay purchase.

Decent Net for the Price. Good Starter Net if you're New to Slow Feeding
The media could not be loaded. For the price this is a decent hay net. The true test of time will be to see how long it lasts. There are three horses on my property and I use slow feed nets for 100% of the hay. The horses have access 24/7/365 to hay, so my hay nets definitely get used.Pros:- Nice sized hay net. I was easily able to put 5 big flakes of grass/alfalfa mix in this hay net. I might have been able to shove a 6th flake in there if I really needed to. In short, you can easily put 1/2 a bale of hay in this net.- 2-inch (give or take) size openings which restricts the speed of consumption for normal, full-size horses.- The size of the holes will hold on to hay and save you from wasting hay dropped on the ground.- The hay bag has knots, which helps make it stronger and less likely to fall apart.Cons:- The white nylon rope used to close the bag. I really hate this thing. I don't like having long, nylon ropes where my horses can have access to them. If the horses get caught up in nylon, it is definitely going to do some damage to their skin/hide. Ultimately, I replaced the white nylon with a blue cotton rope and a rubber closure piece that I ordered from another hay net manufacturer (see the photos for this).- I wish they offered this in multiple opening sizes. This is advertised as a 1"-1.5" opening, but it is much larger than that. Only a few of the holes were 1". Most are 2". The 2" opening is a good starter size, but for nice 2nd or 3rd cutting grass, it still allows horses to eat it quickly. It would be amazing if they offered a true 1" size opening.- No easy or safe way to hang this bag without adding your own carabiner or double-ended snap.Overall: If you're new to the idea of slow feeding your horses, this would be a good place to start. ProTip: Watch the video I've included to see how to easily fill a hay bag. It doesn't have to be a struggle. There are a couple of upgrades/changes that I have made to this bag and would do again if I ordered another one. You can see these changes in the photos I've included as well.

Would buy again
Very nice, holds a decent amount of hay. Ties closed and up easily. Doubles as a face scratcher. My horse goes through this hay bag quickly, so I don’t think it’s a slow feeder for him. He eats like he’s starving. Perfect height, perfect hole size and material.

Just what i needed
Love these hay nets. affordable, holes are true to size and stands up to my rough gelding. the nylon rope is harder to keep tied but once you master the slip knot it’s perfect. I recommend!

Two different sizes
I ordered two of these at the same time. I am pleased with the construction and the thick rope tie. However, the rope tie is a bit short, making tying a bit difficult. And my two nets are different sizes. In one, I can easily fit three of the large, 110lb. bale, thick flakes. In the other, in order to close the top and be able to hang and tie, I can only fit two, plus a bit more from a third flake. This is frustrating but we make it work. It really helps a lot in saving hay, as my horses tend to be wasteful with hay! (And hay is expensive nowadays!) I would appreciate a longer rope-tie, and consistency in net sizes. But otherwise, I’m pleased.
