I added lots of this to some buttercream icing I wanted to have a lighter colour on, and it hardly tasted like chocolate, could not place my finger on the taste. Would not recommend if you want rich chocolate taste.

My first caramel essence was brilliant (2nd photo) This latest order arrived totally unfit for purpose. Clearly no caramel has been added and only the faintest whiff of vanilla. Disgusted and very angry for such a high-priced item to arrive so lacking in said ingredient. To make matters so much worse there is no way to get a refund or a replacement!! What arrogance!
