Sturdy, easily able to wash rice and drain without getting rice or water everywhere. LOVE it (and doubly so since there were 2 in a pack!)

Love it. I gave one to my boyfriend and he loves it. Washing rice now is more fun and easier. I make my rice in the oven in a casserole type dish. Extra clean rice creates a nice fluffy styled rice with this bowl. Delicious!!

We have rice nearly everyday and I learned from my Japanese Aunty to always rinse the rice three times. This collander makes it so easy. As soon as I got this but decided to give it a real test and rinse Quinoa. Totally worked and cleaned up nicely. This is made of super durable plastic.

Makes it possible to wash and drain rice easily and thoroughly. I have bought several to give to friends.

Highly recommend this bowl if you make a lot of rice. You can tell it is domestic Japanese quality which is much higher than a typical American product. The only downside to the design is that narrower types of rice can get stuck in the pouring drain, but this isn't a dealbreaker. It's definitely designed for Japanese rice, though.

Best colanders/sieves for washing rice or beans and even for draining pasta. They're not hard to use at all, of course. They're way easy to clean by hand, and they stow easily. 10/10
