Medline Universal Wrist and Forearm Splints, 10", Right Arm

This is an excellent brace. I have chronic wrist pain from an injury that never fully healed. I have tried about 7 other braces in the past, so I know how to tell if a brace is a good one. Most of them were short, only 5-6 inches long instead of 10 inches. I finally gave in and bought this one.Immediately after putting it on, I could tell it was very comfortable. Everything is entirely adjustable, so even though I have very small wrists, it still fits. Even the strap that is for the thumb is adjustable. The material is soft and there is excellent padding. The metal parts cannot be removed, so you can't take it out to wash it, which is a slight annoyance but not too bad.I saw another review that said the wrist brace was too short, but I am 5'3" and it comes up about 2 inches shy of my elbow. Measure 10 inches on the back of your arm from your knuckles toward the elbow, and you can see how far it would go for you.This splint has been helping relieve pain while I am typing, and forces me to not use my wrist as much. I'm very glad I went ahead and bought it. I've had it less than a week so far, so I will update as time goes on to tell you how it holds up.

Boyfriend is a machinist who's arm is finally feeling the years of repetative use. It's further down in his arm than all the shorter carpal tunnel braces can support, so this one was the perfect length. He wears it all the time outside of work and sleeps in it. Definitely worth it and I'll purchase again if needed. Durable, comfortable, easy to adjust one-handed.

I am not sure if Curad and Medline are one in the same, they might be, but for what it is worth. mine came packaged in a Curad branded box. I was under the impression it came up a bit higher on the forearm, but is the standard length and equal to the length of my store bought and nearly worn out Futuro nighttime wrist brace, which is being replaced with this Curad/Medline one. It seems well made, substantial and was a good value for the money imo. I would purchase again.

I've had tendonitis problems in both my wrists since I was younger and I needed these sleeves for splinting my wrist every once in a while when it builds up and hurts really bad. Be careful as this only fits the right wrist, you have to buy the left side version for the left wrist.Get this sooner rather than later as it can become a more serious issue. This was a great version as it is heavy duty, the straps are long and can be strapped tight (even if its velcro). I'm short, so the brace went all the way to my elbow, but that was good for me. I had no problems with shipping.Thanks for a great, useful product!

I have lots of soft tissue injuries as well as tendon damage. While waiting for my surgery date I needed something that would protect everything that I could wear all day and sleep in as well. This brace is really comfortable but takes a minute to adjust for my need. I removed all the metal bars and it feels so much better and all of my injuries are protected. And even without the bars once you adjust the straps it holds your wrist still.

This is the second of these braces I have bought and worn in past month. Within the first few days, the stitching comes out in the palm exposing the aluminum brace. This happened with the first, so I ordered a replacement. The replacement did the same thing. The brace itself is very good for what it is designed to do, the construction of the brace is what's sub par.

Broke my wrist and opted for this instead of a stinky, sweaty cast all summer. Worked like a charm (bought two to alternate and an unpadded one for certain chores and showers). Even slept in it. Sometimes used along with therapeutic gloves and elastic bandages. Hand-washable and quite durable. I added extra Velcro near the top for long hours of typing, but it's completely adjustable on its own. Highly recommend!

After tripping backward on a metal hose and falling on the concrete, I fractured the inside of my right wrist and in the area of my right outside forearm; I needed something more than a hand/wrist brace. This brace works for me!. It's a perfect fit, quick delivery, great brace! Sewn in metal support on the top of hand/arm for top of forearm support, as well as on the bottom to allow for inner wrist/under the forearm support. Just what I was looking for, just what I needed. Soft, nicely padded, has 3 adjustable arm velcro straps and an adjustable velcro strap to keep the thumb in place. Thank you!!!
