tool to modify for n easy install on a ram
good prouduct. glad i bought the extra air line! on a ram the top bolt was abear to get off i had to grind a 21 mm socket down to a thin wall to be able to get it down over the nut. it went very well after i did that!

Perfect Fit
Replaced the OEM shocks on my 2011 Ram 1500 and what a difference they made. Installation went quick, used a 22mm Crows Foot w/ multiple extensions for the upper inside nut at the top, worked great (13/16" or 21mm is would be a tighter fit).

Don’t do it
Not enough sir line included with kit to run hoses to back of my Ram. Had to buy another install kit. Install went ok and aired up to 60 psi and it held for the night. Ran for several weeks st 30 psi and rode nice. Lost pressure after a couple days. Load truck and hooked up trailer and headed out for 1800 mile move. Second day on the road won’t hold air for more than one hour. If I make it to Michigan I’ll have these removed and install sir lift air bags inside the coils. Unless I find a better option. Every Monroe shock absorber or strut I have installed has failed soon after. I swore I’d never use them again and now I’m paying the price for forgetting.

"Easy" install.
For my 2014 Dodge 1500 rear replacement. Pro tip, get yourself a 21mm wrench, heat that puppy up and put a 90 degree bend in it about 2 to 2 and a half inches away from the open end side. This will allow you to access the top nut that you can get to without removing the bed. Spend the money on the wrench unless you have some serious attachments. 21mm Milwaukee 1/2 inch impact and a 21mm wrench, 22mm to take the lugs off and a 9/16 inch wrench for the air fittings. My ride is smooth!

Oil leaked out when charged with air - lost all damping. Not the Monroe I remember.
Installation was straightforward. Instructions say to charge to 90 PSI to check for air leaks. While I was looking for air leaks, I heard a strange sound like pressure being released and there was a puddle of shock oil on the floor. Truck bounced a lot as if it didn't have any shocks at all. I used to work in the Automotive field as a ride and handling engineer and worked directly with Monroe on struts and shocks for OEM applications. These air shocks do not represent the quality I expect from a company like Monroe. I'm very disappointed with these and will be returning them for a refund.

Excellent product ... easy to install.
It took about 2 hours to install. Our RAM had a very hard to get to bolt. Two people made it easier. Works as advertised.

Great shock
Great shock only thing is keeps losing air after few days Iv check it over and over and all fittings can’t find leaks but still works just gotta fill them up b4 I tow something heavy

Good shock but CHEAP fittings
The shocks seem durable and well made but the air line nuts are made of cheap plastic and have a tendency not to hold the airline under pressure very well, not to mention the T fitting ( air filler) is also made of plastic and it's easy to cross thread, difficult to fill and not very durable.
