Good filter for the money
I know people don’t like FRAM, but these are great filters, especially for the money. The synthetic blend has great filtering ability along with great capacity. 20 microns @99%, doesn’t get much better than that. Beats Mobil1, Wix, and others touted as higher quality. If you change your oil regularly then particle size is all that really matters as you’ll never reach this filter’s capacity or rely on the bypass valve, two frequent criteria some people worry about. Been changing my oil for 30+ years on multiple cars and NEVER even come close to approaching a filter’s dirt collection limit or needed a filter bypassed.Never had a nylon core disintegrate or otherwise fail. Not even close.Ironically, the people who hate on them change their oil enough where the filter quality becomes less important. The focus should be on particle size, not nuanced differences in construction or perceived capacity limits. If you change your oil every 10k miles or less, these filters will be great and will filter more particles than the “higher quality” ones do, making your engine last longer and run better.
