A simple yet useful upgrade
***UPDATE***It's been over a year and still going strong. Have both fans at the trunk/hatch and you can feel the breeze as soon as they're turned on. So I'm 100% sure the amps are receiving the necessary cooling. Wish the wiring wasn't as short and thin...but any peep with some wiring knowledge would be able to extend them. and/or replace the wiring with a larger gauge wiring. Worth the $20, yes. More than $20...negative.Have yet to install them, but I did test them out. They work fine, look better than a PC fan and they're quiet. Wish instructions and/or wiring ideas were included, but beggars can't be choosers.Update - (2) Stinger Fans1 - Pre Wired 12v 5 pin relayIlluminated 3 pin rocker switch1 - inline fuseWire Connectors, heat shrink, power/ground wireI installed both fans this weekend. This was my 1st time working with relays, so it took me longer than expected. Yet the results are pretty legit. I have both fans wired to a lighted switch. So I can turn on/off with a push of a button.

Great fan, easy install
This was a super easy install. I put it right next to my amp which overheated all the time, but once I put this fan next to it, I haven't had the amp overheat once. The wires to hook it up are a bit short, but gets the job done. It doesn't come with anything to keep it stable or screw it in with, so I just used velcro and stuck it in my trunk and it worked perfectly. There is a slight hum that you'll hear if you have no music playing or if it's silent in the car, not a big deal at all to me because I never focus on it and when I do hear the fan, it just let's me know it's still working. When I first opened the box and saw the fan, I didn't have much faith in it because there was a little bit of rust on it and looked like it had been used, but hey, it's chirping. Overall, great product and would buy again

Cross Flow for amps that dont see any air
These little car audio cross flow fans are perfect for areas where your high output amps have no air flow. My 2 amps are mounted on the back wall of my Ram 2500 behind the seat so there is zero air movement back there. I mounted one fan for each amp and it works perfect. They are somewhat noisy but the cost of noise for what they do is ok with me. They give my amps cooling air over the surface of the amp and heat sinks. I recommend this product

Incomplete Kit, but Works Well
I get nervous buying car audio products from Amazon. Luckily this experience wasn’t too bad for me.First off, the product works as it’s supposed to. The loudness everyone talks about is comparable to the noise volume of a cell phone vibrating on a wood table. Not a problem once the seats are propped up. You can barely hear it. It becomes white noise and you get used to it. 99% of the time I’m bumping music over the sound anyhow. Great buy for the price in my opinion. The cons of this product:Came in a cardboard box as if it was used prior to me purchasing. I know the product usually comes in plastic packaging. The Stinger branding is on the fan, though. The leads for the fan are about 6 inches long. Unless you plan to mount this right next to your amp connections, or wherever you get power from, you’ll need to invest in some 22 gauge speaker wire and wire connectors.Mine came with no screws or mounting hardware. Had to go to the hardware store and buy screws. You need tiny ones so the threads will fit through the tiny mounting holes of the fan.You might consider investing in a long Phillips bit for your drill. An ordinary bit or screwdriver will make it difficult to mount this. The holes are so close to the motor of the fan that mounting is a bit difficult without the right bit. We’ll see how much longevity I get from the product. So far the fan works just fine and blows a lot of air across the length of my amp; way more than I had anticipated. For anyone wondering, I connected the black ground wire to the ground of my amp and the red power wire to the remote connection on the same amp.

Stinger amp cooling fan
Has a little noise from it but I don’t hear it at all after I barely turn up my radio. Puts out a lot for the size. Haven’t had my amp after heat since I installed it.

Stinger amplifier cooling fans are an ingenious product
I have 2 stinger amp fans hooked up on my Ford Fusion and since recently installing the 2nd I've had no problems with amps shutting down from heat. I have (6) 12 inch subwoofers, (2) 10 inch subwoofers, and(1) 8 inch, (3) amplifiers and it's all good here thanks to Stingers. I give it 10/10 all day long
