I have a lot of le creuset items so thought we’d add a roasting tray. So good I bought another.

Basically it heats up way more in the middle than outside, while using a stove (where the large ring is at the bottom). It was really annoying in the beginning, however I made this to my advantage and I love it. It is possible to, for example: move the sauce / vegetables away to the sides and sear something in the middle, deglaze, mix and place whole thing in the oven. This kit creates possibility to implement multiple cooking techniques, while using a single dish.

We gave this roaster a definite trial-by-fire, entrusting it with our Christmas turkey. A trivet of vegetables raised the bird up; and I am very pleased to report that the roaster performed exceptionally. After removing the bird, we used it to make gravy on our induction hob. The plentiful fond came up super easily with no scraping required. Once the gravy was strained out into a separate pot to keep warm, all it took was a little soap & hot water to get it sparkling clean again. Almost no elbow grease required. We've since used it on multiple Sunday dinners, with exceptional results.You may balk at paying this much for a roasting tin; but LC products come at a premium for a reason. Treat it with care and you'll pass it down to the next generation. They'll be able to pass it down to their kids, etc etc.

A kitchen essential if you can afford to invest. This pan is great for tray bakes but can also be used on the hob. Our last was purchased from a supermarket and it lasted 3 months before the non stick coating peeled off won't be buying cheap ovenware again.

Beautiful totally non stick roasting pan. Will last for years, worth the price tag.
