Super functional kit and great company.
Excellent quality, excellent company, and excellent customer service. The quality of the kit and contents is perfect for day to day use. But the best part is the following: when I received the kit, the CAT Tourniquet was missing. So I reached out directly to the company, they responded within 12 hours, asked me to provide order # and my mailing address so that they could send me the tourniquet, and about 4 days later, I received the tourniquet. Super service, great value and perfect for daily use.

Impressive Quality, Fiscally Responsible
I am nowhere close to being the pinnacle of medical knowledge, but as an EMT who works in the field of emergency preparedness and response, I am very impressed with this trauma kit. A key assumption before continuing with this review; I have not yet performed a thorough inspection of the CAT Gen-7 tourniquet, though upon a cursory review, it does appear to be legitimate and not a copy-CAT (forgive my pun). The kit is constructed very well and with good stitching. The exterior strap provides a decent amount of compression to keep the contents of the kit compact and in place. Comparing this kit with many others out on the market, I find that this kit makes some of the most financial sense, given the quality of the items included. The only things I would add to this kit are occlusive chest seals and cling/roll gauze; the latter being optional, but beneficial in extending the number of injuries or patients that can be treated by one kit by potentially being paired with the hemostatic z-fold gauze for one injury site, and using the Israeli bandage on another.I believe the next evolution of this kit does come with some of those additional items, but it also adds additional band-aids and smaller items that I don't think are necessary for this type of kit.Kit strengths: Well packed; quality (reliable) equipment; good as an IFAK or to be stored in a bleed kit/large AED case, or to be kept on a jobsite.Kit weaknesses: Somewhat large/bulky, make sure it will fit in your intended storage space. The red velcro first-aid patch has small red fibers coming off of it, a very very mild irritation.Final Thoughts: There is additional value to be found in the origin of this kit. Being an American company with an official CAT Gen-7 tourniquet is important, especially if this kit is to be used for anything other than personal use. Are other kits likely to get the job done? Probably. But when it comes to a tourniquet, is "probably" good enough? In Ukraine, many copy-CATS are being discovered. Sadly, they are discovered when the cheaper windlass fails during application in a high-stress environment. Also, it may be worth considering other means of wound disinfection beyond the included alcohol prep pads. Studies have shown that use of hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol can harm tissue and delay healing. In emergency situations, it should still do the job, just bear this in mind.

Pretty decent basic trauma IFAK. Could use a few additional items for use in a firearms context.
Reasonably complete field trauma IFAK (not to be confused with a general first aid kit or emergency survival kit). Has most of the basics and instructions a non-trained individual could use for immediate attention to a significant trauma prior to the arrival of first responders, involving a single injured individual. The tourniquet is of a branding I haven’t seen before, but upon inspection seems like a decent quality CAT. Field pouch is of appropriate size and quality construction, with all the necessary organizational features. Could be a tad more compacted, but that’s not a big deal. There’s enough internal space to add in an additional item or two you may wish to have in a trauma kit geared towards a firearms ND/accident context. I added a pack of chitosan-based hemostatic gauze and a 2-pack of HyFin chest seals for the sake of completeness without overloading the pouch. Would’ve been nice if those had been included, but that may not have been feasible at the price point. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced compact emergency trauma kit that isn’t just filled with a bunch of superfluous stuff like Bandaids, alcohol swabs and plain gauze/bandages or burdened with more advanced airway, decompression, suturing gear which shouldn’t really be used by anyone without medic/EMT training unless you are truly hours away from help, you could do worse than Everlit. They seem to know what they’re doing.

Basic, but everything you need
The items in the pack are of good quality. I bought this to take hunting with us in case of an accident. The CAT tourniquet looks legit so I didn’t need to replace it. I do wish there were chest seals included, because I did have to make an additional purchase to get those. The overall size of the pack isn’t too bad and easily fits in my hunting backpack.
