Great quality and easy to use. Tech support very quick to respond. I should have done more research because it ended being the wrong VFD for my application but I was able to return it. Good people.

The description of this VFD is correct despite the model sticker not saying its capable of 1PH input power. There is also no mention of 1PH wiring to this unit. Wired up the VFD to 240V 1PH power and it worked just fine driving a 2.2kw 220v 400hz spindle motor. I wired it to R and S, also tried R and T connections and it worked just fine both ways. The Chinese to English translation is pretty good in the provided manual. Hope to receive a manual in PDF format from MONSTECH. I did receive a PDF manual after several messages back and forth. Stay away from this VFD if you ever need support with it, MONSTECH is of no help. They just message back gibberish. This VFD says it supports RD485, when trying to communicate with it using RTU it errors on commands. This VFD doesn't use standard RTU commands. It was the response I got back when I asked the question about RTU commands in HEX that prompted me to change my overall rating to 1 star. Very disturbing reply. Oh and this VFD isn't FCC approved for USA use, another reason to stay away, its a violation to use under part 15 of the FCC rules and regulations.

The unit did work but you really need to know how to work with a VFD unit if you wish to purchase this brand. The small booklet included with the unit is just for a generic VFD and the description of buttons do not match the unit. The wiring diagram is missing single phase detail. The seller just takes a picture of the current model and slaps in on the booklet. When you try to get customer support in China, they have no understanding of how the unit functions.

Product worked as well intended and came with lengthy instructions for installation.

The drive has NO parameters for the rated current and voltage of the connected motor.I never got it to work, just a flashing display.Took it off the wall, installed a different brand, and five minutes later, all is well.I had discussions with the Tech support back and forth. They NEVER answered my question about the above mentioned parameters.

Description says input single phase 220 volts. Name plate and manual say 3 phase input. I returned item instead of using it
