I use this product in my pond and the pond looks amazing! I would recommend this product for your pond if you have fish.

Every so often I looked to save a buck by purchasing a lower cost pond dye. They do not stand up to the color longevity and require more product than they claim sufficient for my one acre pond. This is a still pond with no constant flow thru so its not like its being washed out. I always come back to Aquashade, and lately Aquashade Plus, which I am convinced is a better buy for me in the long run.

I wasnt sure what I bought would help. The results took a summer to show. I used probably 1/2 of what label recommended. Coukd easly see color change, (Blue) After a few month I can see less growth from bottom up. Likely will do again next season. Color is still in water adfter 4 months. It tok a couple weeks to evenly cover the entire area. Aprx 3.5 acres used two of these. with some other chemical. The color additive was a plus.

If you want something to be blue, put a drop of this on it! Have used for three years in our pond to control bottom weeds and improve the look of the pond. 2 bottles 2 times per year is sufficient for my situation. This is not just a blue dye - it filters out the wavelengths of light that the bottom plants need todevelop while letting other wavelengths pass through. Just pour it along the shoreline on the upwind end of the pond and within a day the entire pond is blue. Aeration helps with dispersion and mixing but is not required.

Product worked but leaked in house and stained flooring and rugs. Will not buy this online again. Just buy it local.

Great product

The color is great and it is very concentrated which outlasts other color products.

We put this in last Sept. i was disappointed our one acre pond was not very blue. Then this spring after the ice melted we notice the water much clearer than in the last 35 yrs? Normally we only see down about a foot if lucky in spring, have to wait a few months and after a couple applications of the biologics we put in for it to clear up more.. The only thing we did different was use the Aquashade Plus in Sept. We have high hopes this is what cleared our water.
