After paying hundreds for 4 forced particulate filter regeneration I searched for a prevention. And I promise you I haven't had the regeneration done in the 4 years I've been using it.. I dose it when the fan kicks in after ive parked up to try to heat the engine up to clear the soot, when the recommended 40lit is gone, ive hot an automatic so cant run it in a low gear so i park up somewhere remote and get the revs up fir 5+ mins, you'll smell the soot burn off. And that's it problem solved. Works every time. It varies how often it's needed, mileage, speed and types if roads driven effect play . But at it's price it's a fraction of the £385 the garage charges.A German mechanic recommended it on a website i found, tried and tested.Always buy multiples so you have a spare can the sooner you catch it the better chance you have of a great outcome.
