It's worth every penny.
Ok, out of all computers I have had. This is definitely a hell of an upgrade, First off, my wifi was crappy on my old computer, But when I use it on the computer, it's instant fast, very fast, Even without a wifi or internet connection, it was instant. The laptop itself is very light weight, probably even weights less then 3pounds, the most I can say it's about 2 an a half pounds maybe even, 2 pounds and a quarter of a pound. The design is beautiful, I love how the keyboard glows, it helps me so much at night. And I'm sure others who have gotten this has had this help them many of times. Honestly. It runs games smoothly, with no lag, it makes life a lot better, The harddrive is even better, the lifespan last up to around 7 hours 7-half hours. Not a full 8 hours but it gets you threw all day it your traveling or taking it out. Then it will last all day. The camera isn't GREAT, I didn't really need the camera tho anyway, I only needed the pc for gaming and school(If you wanna facechat tho that wouldn't be bad the camera quality isnt horrible, just not enough for video making.) It had the exact amount of storage and it had 8gb of ram as it said, It also added another 100gb because of dropbox, so in total I got 300gbs or so, which made me damn happy.I have heard the ups and downs with acer with, this kind of stuff. But I had no problems with this laptop what so ever, I reccomend it to other's highly.I would also like to put, I am a gamer, and I have part time school as well, if you want a good gaming Laptop or school laptop. 5 stars. Great quality.

Great value that can enhanced
This is my third Acer laptop (other 2 are still functional) and after 2 weeks this has been a solid performer. Performs well and with WiFi 6 I am getting superb speed using 5 GHz network. Battery life has been good so far. I will say that compared to my Aspire E laptop the keyboard is slimmer, and the number pad keys and functions keys are smaller but there is nice tactile feedback on the keys and the back lighting is nice. What has been difficult is getting proper information about configuration. Like some other reviews, my laptop came with 1 8 GB memory stick rather than a 4 + 4 configuration. So this laptop maxes out at only 16 GB of RAM, and you are limited to using only Kingston memory (per Acer and my own testing). So that was a bit of a bummer.I was able to add a second SDD (I used WD Blue b/c of price) which is always a nice feature of the Acer laptops. This was more difficult than my Aspire E laptops but still doable. The trick is to remove the screw holding the Intel chip down so you can fully seat the connector.

Day one. So far so good. Took about an hour to set it up.
Love the backlit keyboard! Picture is fantastic! Finger print reader is awesome! Download speeds are 350mps and I only pay for 300. I gave it 4 stars because of major light leakage around all the keys when the keyboard lights up. Plugged it in and it took 3 hours to charge fully. Didn't turn it on when I got it. Just plugged it in like the recommendations say. UPDATE: 5 days now. It crashed on me today. Not sure what happened. I was chatting and suddenly a screen said shutting down. I couldn't stop it. When I turned it back on, it gave the new version of the "Blue Screen of Death"! Tried everything it said to do. Nothing worked. Called Acer. They made me do all the same things again. Plus 5 different Command prompt entry's. Nothing worked. So I set up a return with Amazon and removed the extra SSD drive I installed, plugged it in and turned it on for kicks. It worked! Was it the SSD I had installed? I have no clue. But the laptop wasn't plugged in when it crashed or "shut down" and wouldn't restart. After I used it for about 15-20 min with it plugged in, I checked the battery status. It was at 28%. Could it have charged form 5% to 28 in that time? Not sure. Maybe it just shut down because of the battery level. But I have ran the battery to near dead or 5% 2 times before and it gave a warning. Several in fact. Not this time. Other than that. I love everything about this laptop. Unless it happens again...

A fantastic laptop in this price range
I have an older Acer Chromebook and an Acer Aspire that is maybe four years old with a 6th gen i5 AND a dedicated Nvidia on board. Have been happy with both. This 10th gen is a fantastic machine. It blows my i5 out of the water. Ordered it for my mother as her Dell lappy has been dying a slow death for a few years and finally kicked it. I have no idea what Wifi 6 means, but this has lightning fast downloads vs any laptop I've used before. The processor is also surprising. She only uses it for casual games so I can't speak of how it works for modern gaming. It's well under 6 bills. That should tell you that this isn't in that class. As a former home builder of computers, I have been very impressed with the snappyness and the nice build quality. The cover to the top of the case is metal and has a gleeming aluminum Acer logo on it. Gives the impression of a much more expensive machine. If you need a bunch of power to run modern games or edit video, move along. If you need a quick daily driver laptop, this thing will be hard to beat. After reading reviews on the new 11th gen model Acer, I stuck with this older, more reliable 10th. Am very happy with it - as is my Mother.

Solid laptop within budget. It's been great for work/school.
I’ve had it for five days, and it’s been running smoothly. It's quick, and I’ve had no problems getting work done. The screen quality is enjoyable, and everything functions as it should. Video calls have been lag-free for me. I would recommend this laptop to students. It has a good battery and is lightweight. It’s been easy to take on the go and be mobile. However, I’ve yet to try it with any games. If this is within your price range, this is a solid choice. The stock hardware is promising, and I’m still on it. Also, it is capable of being upgraded to gain storage space and increase computer speed.
