This will work for soldering Aluminum to dissimilar metals together.

Q: Will this flux work with aluminum rods out there such as Alumweld, Hobart low-temp aluminum rods and other such rods?

The flux is intended for use with lead/tin type solders at relatively low temperatures and for this application it performs as advertised if a bit messy. It is not intended for any type of welding or higher temp brazing. My experience is that the flux breaks down into a tough, inert difficult to remove carbon like material at temps much above about 700F.
