Comfortable, effective.
Works perfectly for Jiu-jitsu. Stays in place and no more sore knee from shooting take downs. I'm 5'10", 155lbs with a perfect fit.Tip: I've been washing it in the washer after each use (2-3x weekly) and seems to be holding up. I turn it inside out to protect the outer seams while in the washer. And hang dry it. It usually is dry in 24hrs by next use.

Worth the wait!
I train/study the wonderful art of Brazilian jiu jitsu. During the training, my knees can take a beating on the mats. But, with these knee pads, my knees are protected and supported. I've tried Scrap Life, McDavid, and Cliff Keen. Scrap Life is good, but these Cliff Keen pads are better. I can't speak for wrestlers, but if you're a grappler over the age of 50, like me, do your knees a favor a buy a pair of these knee pads.

Excellent for aikido practice
I have only been practicing aikido for about six months and I still have issues with the ukemis (falls) since most of the time instead of falling straight to my shoulder I tend put the knee first. This let me two ugly round scars in both of my knees and my knees themselves were beginning to resent all the falls and all the weight (we also spend a lot of time practicing on our knees, there are several defense techniches thar are done in this position). One day that I was doing nothing but ukemis and could not stand the pain, my boyfriend lent me his (He falls great but he does have a congenital and quite serious knee problem, thus suwari waza and hamni handachi kill him)and I saw heavenThey fit very well, they don't slip but they're not so tight either, they are incredibly confortable and do not impede your movements at all but every time you fall or sit you appreciate them a lot. They also cover the knee cap as a whole and it is very good for people recovering from knee surgery (A friend of mine had a surgery three months ago, bought the caps after seeing mine and she's already practicing).Just a comment: Each package brings only one knee pad so be alert. I truly recommend to buy a pair since you will definitely have an equilibrium distortion when sitting and all your weight will fall over the unprotected knee.

False ad
We did order a small, and it was too small for my daughter. The listing shows free returns, but we were changed the return shipping postage. That is not free returns. The second order does fit better and seems to be a good product.

Roll your dice...
I am saying that I don't like it, but I'm sure that it will work for somebody.I ordered a couple to replace some knee pads that I lost. The padding and manufacturing was nice, but inconsisent. Two knee pads of the same size fit differently, one of them squeezing my knee cap uncomfortably. I tried the two on the same knee, so I'm not just deformed :)If I had used this product in wrestling practice, I expect that it would have done more harm than good. The fact that the same kneepads felt so different points to shoddy quality control. If they are designed to fit a person's anatomy, even if it is a generalized anatomical feature, like a knee cap, they should all be manufactured the same.I am sure somebody has gotten some that work great. If you like how they look, or have a pair that you love and want to replace, I would suggest ordering half a dozen, and keeping the two that fit best.

I only received 1 kneepad
I now know by reading the description that there's only a quantity of 1, but there are two in the picture. Ultimately it is my fault, but when I see two in the picture in the description I would expect to have two coming. Overall the quality seems sturdy, so I'm still giving it a 3. I'm just disappointed in the quantity. Hopefully this helps someone who's looking at buying this knee pad.

Comfortable Knee Support
Been training bjj for over a year now and began developing a sore spot at the top of my shin. Training was becoming increasingly painful until I invested in this product. I highly recommend it, but there is only one knee wrap per order.

Best knee pad for bjj I’ve used so far.
I’ve been doing bjj for almost a decade now and my initial impression of this knee pad is that it’s built to last but also very high quality. Some other knee pads bunch at the back of the knee or rub the back of the knee but this one stays in place the whole class. 10/10 would recommend
