5/32" Soft Synthetic Upholstery Welt Cord, Braided #0, 65 Yards

I absolutely loved working with this synthetic cord. I used it to make a custom piping for high-end outdoor pillows for a client.Pros:1. The softness is amazing for making pillows, it easily goes/bends around the edges, and can be used for making indoor pillows also. I also ordered a “firm “version for comparison and it didn’t work for the pillows - I’m still keeping it to use for cushion/ mattress cover fir a future project.2. It doesn’t fray when you cut it as much as the cotton piping cord.3. It is actually made in the USA.Cons: none really, we made 6 pillows so far and the cording has been nice and uniform throughout.

This welt cord is an excellent value. It's sturdy with just the right softness but can hold an edge. That the sellers are a small business is a plus for me. I'm starting a small business myself and understand the effort that goes into it. So, from one small business to another - thank you!

I use this for my furniture business. Perfect size for most fabrics. Sometimes use one size smaller for large bulky velvets but this one is great.

I made a couple of 5' x 2' bench cushions and four toss pillows. The cording held up well to all the handling, was easy to use, and made beautiful piping. The photo shows one of the bench cushions and one of the pillows. I would buy this product again.

I bought this to use in recovering a footstool. It really was not the right choice for that project. It would work fine for use in clothing.

I love this cording so much more than the other types. It can be washed without falling apart and keeps it’s shape when sewing into piping!
